    Thin chicken breasts cook quickly and evenly in the air fryer and I like them far better than these Air Fryer Chicken Breast. You do not have to worry about the outside drying out before the inside is done.

    Thin chicken breasts are also extremely versatile. You can season it simply and use it in multiple meals throughout the week. There are some more ideas below!

    I love using thin sliced chicken because it saves time and eliminates guesswork. Once you try it this way, it is hard to go back to thick chicken breasts. I bet you can’t guess where I get these too. Usually I get them at Aldi when they have a red tag sticker on them means they are marked down even more!

    Thin chicken breasts are just regular chicken breasts split in half and pounded thin!

    Ingredients Needed for Air Fryer Thin Chicken Breast

    • 3 to 4 thin chicken breasts
    • 2 tablespoons of oil
    • 3 to 4 teaspoons of seasoning Salt (use your favorite one!)

    How to Make Thin Chicken Breast in Air Fryer

    Step 1 Preheat your air fryer to 380 degrees F if your model requires preheating.

    Step 2 Place the thin chicken breast on a cutting board or in a bowl. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder if using. Add a small amount of oil and toss to coat.

    Step 3 Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overlap. Air fry for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping or shaking halfway through.

    Check for doneness. The chicken should be opaque, lightly golden, and juicy.Let the chicken rest for 2 minutes before slicing or serving.

    Pro Tips

    Thin sliced chicken cooks very fast, so start checking at the 6 minute mark. If the pieces are different sizes, remove the smaller ones first. Letting the chicken rest for a couple minutes helps keep it juicy.

    If you want more browning, spray lightly with oil before cooking. If you prefer very simple seasoning, salt and pepper alone work great.
