Why You Will Like the Ninja Creami

The Ninja Creami makes homemade ice cream incredibly easy because you don't need a traditional ice cream maker. Simply mix the ingredients, freeze the pint, and let the machine transform the frozen base into creamy ice cream.

A simple vanilla base works especially well with chocolate sandwich cookies because it lets the cookie flavor stand out. The cookies are added after processing with the Mix-In function, which helps keep some of their texture instead of turning everything into a chocolate-colored mixture.

This recipe is also easy to customize. You can add extra cookies, use different chocolate sandwich cookies, or even add chocolate chips for an extra decadent dessert.

Ingredients Needed Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

    • ¾ cup Greek Yogurt
    • 1 cup Almond Milk
    • 2 tablespoons of vanilla or chocolate pudding mix
    • ¼ cup of crushed Oreos
    • 2 tablespoons of Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup
    • See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

How to Make Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

Step 1: Combine yogurt, milk, Hershey’s syrup, and pudding mix in a blender such as a magic bullet. Puree until smooth.

Step 2: Pour into to Ninja Creami pint containers. Freeze for 24 hours.

Step 3: Following the manufacturer's instructions, insert the pint container into the outer bowl. Push 'Ice Cream' button. When done spinning, push 'Re-spin' button and add in chocolate chips and crushed Oreos.

    Enjoy exploring these delightful flavors!

Pro Tips for Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

For the best cookies and cream texture, don't crush all of the cookies into fine crumbs. A mixture of small pieces and larger chunks gives the ice cream more texture.

If your ice cream looks crumbly after the first spin, don't worry. This is common with Ninja Creami recipes. Simply use the Re-Spin function until the base becomes creamy.

Add the cookies after processing rather than blending them into the frozen base. This helps keep the cookie pieces crunchy and prevents the entire ice cream from becoming too dark.

For an extra indulgent dessert, add chocolate chips or a drizzle of chocolate syrup before serving.

    Storage

Store leftover Ninja Creami Cookies and Cream Ice Cream in the Creami pint with the lid securely attached and keep it frozen.

If the ice cream becomes firm after being refrozen, let the pint sit at room temperature for a few minutes before processing it again. Use the Re-Spin function to restore the creamy texture.

For the best flavor and texture, enjoy the ice cream within a few weeks.

    Serving Suggestions

Serve cookies and cream ice cream in a waffle cone or bowl with extra crushed chocolate sandwich cookies on top. A dollop of whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate syrup make it even more decadent.

For a fun sundae, add chocolate sauce, mini chocolate chips, sprinkles, or chopped nuts. You can also serve a scoop alongside a warm brownie or chocolate cake.

Another fun idea is to make an ice cream sandwich using two chocolate chip cookies. The creamy vanilla ice cream and crunchy chocolate cookies make an irresistible combination.

The amount of pudding mix seems to be left off the recipe? Cannot confirm the quality of the recipe, given a three-star as a placeholder
