If you love cozy, quick desserts, these cookies are a total win.

    • They’re ready in under 10 minutes start to finish.
    • You’ll get that chewy-on-the-inside, lightly crispy-on-the-edges texture we all love.

As someone who tests air fryer recipes all the time, I was honestly impressed at how well the cookie mix worked here. The air fryer heat creates that just-baked smell in minutes, and you don’t even have to dirty a baking sheet. I will definitely be trying other cookies in the air fryer soon! Ingredients Needed for Air Fryer Peanut Butter Cookies

    • 1 bag peanut butter cookie mix (any brand you like — mine was from Dollar Tree!)
    • Ingredients listed on the mix (usually 1 egg + 1–2 tablespoon oil or water)
    • Optional: a few chocolate chips or a sprinkle of sea salt on top

    Substitution Tips:

    • Use almond butter or sunflower seed butter mix if you’re avoiding peanuts.
    • Want lower sugar? Try mixing in a teaspoon of monk fruit or Splenda instead of regular sugar if the mix isn’t sweet enough for you.
    • Gluten-free? There are several good peanut butter cookie mixes that work great in the air fryer too!

How to Make Air Fryer Peanut Butter Cookies

Step 1 Preheat your air fryer to 350°F.

Step 2 Scoop the dough into small balls (about 1 tablespoon each) and place them on a piece of parchment paper or a silicone liner in your air fryer basket.'

    Mixed peanut butter cookie dough.

Step 3 Air fry for 3 minutes, then open the basket and gently press each cookie down with a fork or spoon to flatten them halfway.

Peanut butter cookies scooped out on parchment paper in an air fryer.

Step 4: Continue cooking for 3 more minutes until the edges look lightly golden. Let them cool for 3–5 minutes before removing. They’ll firm up perfectly as they cool!

    Pro Tip

Halfway through cooking, gently press the cookies down. It helps them bake evenly and gives them that perfect peanut butter cookie look with slightly crinkled edges.

    Serving Suggestions

Enjoy these cookies warm with a cold glass of milk (or almond milk!). You can also crumble one over a bowl of vanilla yogurt or blend it into a Ninja Creami shake for a peanut butter dessert twist.
