Why You Will Like Tortellini Caesar Salad

If you are looking to make this a complete meal try adding some cooked shredded rotisserie chicken or grilled chicken. I've made many other pasta salad recipes like this Anna Paul's Viral Turkish Pasta Recipe, Baked Feta Pasta (Viral Tiktok Recipe ), or Tiktok Ramen with Soy Sauce and Brown Sugar.

This recipe only requires two ingredients which make the salad easy to prepare in no time flat. If you want to make homemade ceasar salad that is always an option and I will leave that in the recipe as well.

Making a Caesar salad is a straightforward and rewarding culinary endeavor. Follow these steps to create a delicious, classic Caesar salad: The main components are romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, croutons, and the dressing.

    Ingredients Tortellini Ceasar Salad

1 container of cheese tortellini - Cook these according to package instructions

1 bag of Ceasar Salad kit - Can make your own ceasar salad or just get a pre packaged bag at the store

How to Make Tortellini Ceasar Salad

Step 1 Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.

    Cooked tortellini in a strainer.

Step 2 In a large bowl, pour the dressing over the lettuce and toss to coat all the leaves evenly. Add the croutons and half of the grated Parmesan cheese, and toss again to combine.

Ceasar salad and tortellini mixed in a bowl.

Add the cooked cheese tortellini to the salad mix in the bowl and toss again to combine.

Serve: Transfer the salad to individual plates or a serving bowl. Sprinkle the remaining Parmesan cheese on top. For an extra touch, you can garnish with additional croutons or a squeeze of lemon.

    Tortellini Ceasar Salad Tips:

    • For homemade croutons, cut day-old bread into cubes, toss with olive oil, salt, and pepper, and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 10-15 minutes until golden and crisp.
    • If you prefer to avoid raw egg yolk, you can substitute with a tablespoon of mayonnaise for a similar creamy texture.
    • Add grilled chicken, shrimp, or anchovies for a protein boost and extra flavor.

    Tortellini Ceasar Salad Recipe FAQS

    How do I store leftovers?

Once food has cooled, transfer leftovers into airtight containers. Glass containers are a great choice as they are non-porous and don't absorb odors or stains. If you prefer plastic, make sure it's BPA-free and food-grade.

Label the containers with the date to keep track of how long the food has been stored. Most leftovers are best consumed within three to four days.

    What pairs well with Tortellini?

    Sauces:

    1. Marinara Sauce: A classic tomato-based sauce with garlic, onions, and herbs like basil and oregano.
    2. Alfredo Sauce: A rich and creamy sauce made with butter, heavy cream, and Parmesan cheese.
    3. Pesto Sauce: A fresh and vibrant sauce made from basil, garlic, pine nuts, Parmesan cheese, and olive oil.
    4. Brown Butter Sage Sauce: A simple yet flavorful sauce made by browning butter and adding fresh sage leaves.

    Vegetables:

    1. Spinach: Fresh or sautéed spinach adds a healthy and flavorful touch.
    2. Mushrooms: Sauté

Recommended Tools to Make This Recipe

Large Mixing Bowls - High-quality tempered glass gives you a peace of mind when managing your food, resists stains and odors. Worry less about scrubbing hard to get rid of stains or any funny smells.
