    f you are looking for an easy homemade ice cream that actually tastes fresh and flavorful, this Ninja Creami strawberry ice cream is one of my favorite recipes to make. It is creamy, slightly sweet, and has that real strawberry flavor that you just do not get from store-bought ice cream.

    This strawberry ice cream is made in the Ninja Creami. You can basically take any type of fresh fruit and do the same with this easy base ice cream recipe.

    What I like most about this recipe is how simple it is. You only need a few ingredients, and the Ninja Creami does all the work. It is one of those recipes that feels a little healthier and more homemade, but still tastes like a treat.

    I have made this a few times now, and it is one of those recipes that turns out consistently as long as you follow a few key steps. If you have a Ninja Creami, this is definitely one to keep in your rotation.

    Ingredients Needed for Strawberry Ice Cream

    This recipe you can transform into any kind of flavor imaginable. Itโ€™s a basic recipe for vanilla ice cream.

    • Greek Yogurt - I like Sigis Greek yogurt because it contains a lot of protein
    • Almond Milk - Iโ€™m lactose intolerant and canโ€™t have milk or heavy cream in my recipes. Fair life drinks also upset my stomach cause there is still milk in them.
    • Vanilla Pudding Mix - This helps thicken the ice cream when Spinning Around in the machine
    • Strawberries - Fresh or frozen both work. Frozen strawberries can give an even thicker texture.
    • Mix Ins - Hersheyโ€™s Chocolate Syrup, Crushed Oreos, Candy Bars, Chopped up chocolate, nuts, blended fruit, honey or agave for sweetener, the list goes on and on.

    How to Make Strawberry Ice Cream in a Ninja Creami

    Combine yogurt, milk, sliced strawberries, and vanilla pudding in a blender such as a magic bullet. Pour into to Ninja Creami pint containers. Freeze for 24 hours.

    Following manufacturer's instructions, insert pint container into outer bowl. Push 'Ice Cream' button. When done spinning, push 'Re-spin' button and add in chocolate chips

    Variations to Try

    • Ninja Creami Vanilla Ice Cream - 1 tablespoon cream cheese, โ…“ cup sugar, ยพ cup heavy cream, 1 cup milk, 3-4 sandwich or Oreo cookies.
    • Ninja Creami Frozen Yogurt - I blended mixed berries into this.
    • Protein Ice Cream - 1 container of Chocolate or Vanilla Fair Life Protein Drink
    • Ninja Creami Cherry Sorbet - contains chunks of chocolate, cherries, and vanilla ice cream
    • Ninja Creami Sorbet Ice Cream - 1 15 oz container of fruit cocktail + Plus
    • Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream - 1 tablespoon cream cheese, โ…“ cup sugar, ยพ cup heavy cream, 1 cup milk, 1 - 2 drops of green food coloring, 2 tablespoons of chopped chocolate chips

    Pro Tips

    • Freeze the mixture completely flat for even processing
    • Do not skip the re-spin if it looks crumbly at first
    • Use ripe strawberries for the best flavor
    • Adjust sweetness after blending if needed
    • Add a splash of milk before re-spinning if it is too dry

    Storage

    Re-spin before serving again for the best texture

    Store in the Ninja Creami pint container

    Keep frozen until ready to eat

    No the manual that came with the Ninja Creami recommends that you do not use that. You need to blend it first so the machine lasts longer.

    Do I need to use protein drinks to make ice cream?

    No, absolutely not! It depends on your fitness goals and the type of recipe you are looking.

    Can I use non-dairy milk to make ice cream?

    Yes you sure can! Instead of regular milk use almond or oat milk.

    Do I need to wait 24 hours for Creami?

    No, My frozen yogurt was ready to be blended in the Ninja Creami after 6 hours. Add image
