If you’ve got a container of strawberries sitting in your fridge (or you grabbed a bag of frozen ones from Aldi), this Ninja Creami Strawberry Sorbet is one of the easiest ways to turn them into something really good.

I’ve made this a few different ways, and honestly, this version is the one I keep coming back to. It’s simple, doesn’t require a ton of ingredients, and the texture turns out smooth and scoopable every time, especially after a quick re-spin in the Ninja Creami.

What I like most about this recipe is that it’s light but still feels like a treat. You’re not dealing with heavy cream or anything complicated—just real strawberries and a few pantry staples. It’s perfect if you want something sweet after dinner or just need a quick, refreshing snack during the day.

    Why You Will Like This

I've tested many Ninja Creami Sorbet Recipes, and this strawberry one is probably my favorite!

    • Only a few ingredients – super budget-friendly, gluten-free and dairy-free!
    • Naturally sweet and fruity – no heavy creams needed
    • Perfect texture – smooth, scoopable, and refreshing
    • Great for summer – light but still satisfying
    • Customizable – easy to adjust sweetness or add mix-ins

This is one of those recipes that feels like a treat but is actually really simple to make at home.

    Ingredients Needed for Strawberry Sorbet

    • 1 bag Strawberries (fresh or frozen) – The star of the recipe. Fresh gives a brighter flavor, but frozen works just as well.
    • Sugar – Helps sweeten the sorbet and enhances the strawberry flavor.
    • Water or Orange Juice – Helps blend everything smoothly and creates the right consistency.
    • Lemon juice (optional) – Adds a slight tang that makes the flavor pop.

👉 Substitution Tip: You can swap sugar for honey or a sugar substitute if you want a lower-sugar version.

How to Make Ninja Creami Strawberry Sorbet

Blend the mixture - Add strawberries, sugar, water (or juice), and lemon juice to a blender. Blend until completely smooth.

Freeze the base - Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami pint container. Freeze on a flat surface for 12–24 hours until solid.

Spin in the Ninja Creami - Insert the frozen pint into the machine and run the Sorbet function.

Re-spin if needed - If the texture looks crumbly, run a Re-Spin cycle once or twice until smooth.

Serve and enjoy - Scoop and serve immediately for the best texture.

Pro Tips for Ninja Creami Strawberry Sorbet

    • Use ripe strawberries – The sweeter they are, the better your sorbet will taste
    • Don’t skip the re-spin – This is key for getting that creamy texture
    • Add a splash of juice if it’s too icy after the first spin
    • Freeze flat – This helps the Creami process it evenly
    • Taste before freezing – Adjust sweetness early for best results

    Storage

    • Store leftovers in the Ninja Creami pint with the lid on
    • Keep frozen for up to 1–2 weeks for best quality
    • Re-spin before serving again to bring back that smooth texture

Recipe FAQs for Ninja Creami Strawberry Sorbet

Can you use frozen strawberries for strawberry sorbet?

Yes! Frozen strawberries work great and are often more convenient. Just blend them with the other ingredients before freezing.

Why is my sorbet crumbly after spinning?

This is normal. Just run the Re-Spin cycle once or twice, and it will become smooth and creamy. Add more juice or water if needed.

Do you need to add sugar?

Sugar helps with both flavor and texture, but you can adjust the amount or use alternatives like honey or a sugar substitute.

Can you make this without lemon juice?

Yes, the lemon juice is optional. It just enhances the flavor, but the sorbet will still taste great without it.

How do you make strawberry sorbet creamier?

If you want a slightly creamier texture, you can add a small amount of fruit juice or even a splash of coconut milk before freezing.

This Ninja Creami Strawberry Sorbet is one of the easiest recipes you can make with your machine. It’s refreshing, budget-friendly, and perfect for using up strawberries—especially when they’re on sale.
