Who says pizza has to be savory? 🍕✨ If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this Dessert Pizza using brownie mix is about to become your new favorite fun treat! It’s rich, fudgy, and decked out with all your favorite toppings — perfect for birthdays, sleepovers, holidays, or just when you're craving something sweet and playful.

Brownie dessert pizza topped with M&Ms, Heath toppings, and chocolate chips.

I’ve made this recipe countless times for family get-togethers, especially during the warmer months (it's fun with festive colors), and it never fails to steal the show. Plus, using a brownie mix means it’s super easy and foolproof — no fancy baking skills needed!

Why You’ll Love This Dessert Pizza

Brownie mix keeps things simple while still tasting like you spent hours baking.

Perfect for Parties: It’s colorful, fun, and easy to customize for any celebration.

Kid and Adult Approved: everyone will want a slice!

Versatile: Change up the frosting and toppings to match the season or the event.

Try this Peanut Butter Brownie Pizza or Caramel Apple Crisp Pizza (Cactus Pizza CopyCat) for other dessert pizza recipes.

    Ingredients You’ll Need

    • 1 box of brownie mix (plus oil, eggs, and water as listed on the box): I like the boxed brownie mix from Aldi. If you are on WW look for a sugar-free boxed brownie mix.
    • ½ cup vanilla frosting (store-bought or homemade): The easiest frosting for pizza you'll ever need. Swap with light whipped topping like Cool Whip instead of regular frosting.
    • ½ cup mini chocolate chips: Use peanut butter, chocolate, or white chips
    • ½ cup M&MS: Gives the pizza a colorful twist - change it up for Holidays

    Substitution Tips

    • Frosting: Swap vanilla frosting for cream cheese frosting for a tangy twist.
    • Fruit: Use raspberries, blackberries, or banana slices if strawberries or blueberries aren’t available. A nice zero-point option for WW.
    • Candy: Try M&M's, Reese's peanut butter cups, Marshmallows, or chopped up pretzels.
    • Brownie Mix: Gluten-free or keto brownie mixes work great too if you need an alternative.
    • Dairy-Free: Use dairy-free frosting and chocolate chips to make it 100% dairy-free.

    How to Make Dessert Pizza

Step 1 Preheat your oven according to your brownie mix directions (usually 350°F/175°C).

Brownie Batter mixed in a bowl.

Step 2 Prepare the brownie batter following the package instructions.

Brownie batter spread on pizza tray.

Step 3 Spread the batter into a thin, even layer that looks like a circle. Evenly layer the batter across the pizza pan.

Bake for about 18–22 minutes, until the edges are set and the center is just slightly soft. (Don’t overbake!)

    Frosted brownie pizza

Step 4 Frost the brownie "crust" with a thin layer of vanilla frosting.

Topped brownie pizza with all the fixings.

Step 5 Top with strawberries, blueberries, mini chocolate chips, mini marshmallows, and sprinkles. Whatever your little heart desires! Slice into wedges and serve

    Serving Suggestions for Dessert Pizza

    • Serve your dessert pizza as the star of the dessert table at birthdays, cookouts, or showers.
    • Holiday Fun: Match the toppings to the season — red and green sprinkles for Christmas, pastel candy for Easter, or heart-shaped candies for Valentine’s Day!
    • Add a scoop of Ninja Creami Vanilla Ice Cream or even this Ninja Creami Gelato on top of each slice for the ultimate brownie sundae pizza.

    Recipe FAQS

Can I make dessert pizza ahead of time?

You can pre bake the pizza the day before and cover it. Then add the toppings the next day.

Can I use different frostings for dessert pizza?

Chocolate frosting, peanut butter frosting, or even whipped cream cheese frosting would all be delicious.

    How do I store leftovers?

Store slices in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. If using lots of fresh fruit, refrigerate to keep everything fresh!
