Crack dip is loaded with all the flavors you can’t stop eating: cheddar, ranch seasoning, green onions, and crumbled bacon. Dip in your favorite tortilla chips or spread on toasted baguette slices.
In the world of food blogging, anything with the word crack in the title sells. Laugh at the name of the recipe if must but I don’t care. This dip is seriously addicting and once you realize how simple it is to make, you will be making it over and over again. I have a few recipes on my blog that have the name crack in the recipe title like Slow Cooker Christmas Crack, Crack Chicken(seriously addicting), and Crack Chicken Lasagna Rollups. If you love this dip, you will have to try these recipes as well.
Christmas is fastly approaching and I’ve got 2 quick and easy Holiday appetizers for you this week. Every Christmas Eve my family has appetizer night. It’s nice to bring appetizers that don’t require any oven use and this Crack dip doesn’t need to be baked. Simply mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and store it in the fridge before serving and serve this with some fresh vegetables or your favorite chips. Since the dip has Ranch seasoning in it, I like to serve this dip with Cool Ranch Doritos. Crack dip has sour cream, Ranch Seasoning, Bacon, cheddar, and scallions in it.

Tips for Crack Dip
Use pre-cooked bacon slices or bacon bits to make this dip come together in no time. This dip comes together in no time and once you learn how to make it, you’ll be making it over and over again!
Bacon bits can be kind of tough and chewy. If you don’t want that texture in your dip then use the already cooked bacon slices. Aldi sells precooked bacon slices and all you do is pop them in the microwave for 15 seconds.
Use a cheddar cheese with some personality, like a sharp Cheddar, or play with other boldly flavored varieties like smoked Gouda, dilled Havarti.
Can crack dip be made ahead of time? Yes
What to serve with crack dip? Lays potato chips, fresh veggies, Dorito chips, buttery Ritz crackers, toasted baguettes, or ruffles.
To make this dip more WW friendly, use non-fat Greek Yogurt and a reduced-fat cheddar.
