Grilled taco pizza is one of my favorite things to grill in the Summer time and this grilled taco pizza hits the spot.
Is anyone else excited that it's finally grilling season? I admit I didn't start using my grill until last weekend. I have quite a few ideas for some great grilled recipes coming up that are also Weight Watcher Friendly like this grilled pizza using the 2 ingredient dough method. What a great idea that was to try grilling this famous pizza dough recipe. Tostitos medium con queso cheese sauce is one of my favorite sauces and I like to put it on top of pretty much everything and it's the perfect sauce for this Taco pizza

How to make Grilled Pizza
Step 1: Cook the ground beef in a non stick skillet on medium-high heat. Drain any fat. Add taco seasoning packet or homemade seasoning to the ground beef. Set aside.
Preheat a grill to medium high.
Place the naan bread on a grill then top the dough with sauce. Then top with cheddar cheese.
Close the grill and let the pizzas cook for 3 - 4 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Remove the pizzas.
Top the pizzas with additional toppings such as green onions, tomatoes, sour cream, crushed tortilla chips or black olives. Enjoy!
Note: You can also make this pizza on an outdoor smoker. Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees. Transfer the pizza dough with the meat and cheese onto a smoker and close the lid. Smoke for 10 to 12 minutes and remove then add the toppings.
Recipe FAQS
I have a Traeger smoker that actually is a grill and smoker all in one. In order to use it as a grill I just preheat it at a low temperature and then when the smoker is done preheating I'll crank up the heat to 350 or 400 in order to grill something. Love my smoker.
Homemade pizza on a grill is awesome cause the dough gets a little extra charred and crispy. Since posting this recipe there are pizza ovens that you can make this on instead of an outdoor grill.

Yes you can spray the grill first.

Do you spray the grill with oil first? The two ingredient dough is pretty sticky so just wondering about that.
