This homemade Dole Whip uses only 1 ingredient and it is a refreshing and fruity treat made with just a can of pineapples. You’ll be so amazed at how creamy just a can of pineapple turns into ice cream!

So last month I bought a Ninja Creami. I am easily influenced by Tiktok. I can not believe how a can of pineapple can turn into one of the creamiest frozen desserts I’ve ever had. It tastes exactly like Dole Whip from Disney Land. It’s incredible and I will be making this all Summer long!

Ingredients needed for Ninja Creami Dole Whip.

How to Make Dole Whip in a Ninja Creami

    1. Add the canned pineapple plus it’s juice to one of the pints the Ninja Creami came with.
    2. Set the pint in the freezer for 24 hours.
    3. When the ice cream is ready use the Sorbet setting on your Ninja Creami machine.
    4.  Choose respin again until it’s the desired consistency you like.
    5. Enjoy!

Other Mix-Ins or Variations to Try

There are so many different types of canned fruits out there to test and see if it can Creami. I’ll be trying these next.

Peaches and Cream, Pears, Mixed Fruit , Cherries, Mandarin Oranges, Pears

Blended ninja creami dole whip in a pint.

    Tips for Ninja Creami’s

    • Ninja Creami’s can make smoothie bowls, ice cream, gelato, sorbet, and even milkshakes!
    • For sorbets use canned fruit or fresh fruit. It just doesn’t make any sense to defrost frozen fruit then refreeze it in the Ninja Creami machine.
    • If the blending didn’t work the first time try adding some more juice or milk to it and do a second respin.
    • Find a good base ice cream for vanilla and you can add whatever toppings you like to the ice cream for mix ins.
    • The Ninja Creami is kind of loud when it is spinning in the machine. Just warning you before you attempt to make ice cream. 🙂
    • Protein drinks like Fairlife and Premiere work great in a Ninja Creami.

Run warm water around the frozen pint of ice cream to avoid icy edges.

This machine is quite noisy, might want to leave the room when you’re spinning the ice cream.

Do I need to wait 24 hours for Creami?

No, My frozen yogurt was ready to be blended in the Ninja Creami after 6 hours. Add image

Can I put frozen fruit into a Ninja Creami Pint?

No the manual that came with the Ninja Creami recommends that you do not use that. You need to blend it first so the machine lasts longer.

Do I need to use protein drinks to make ice cream?

No, absolutely not! It depends on your fitness goals and the type of recipe you are looking.

Can I use non-dairy milk to make ice cream?

Yes you sure can! Instead of regular milk use almond or oat milk.

I'VE SEEN THIS RECIPE EVERYWHERE AND WAS REALLY EXCITED TO TRY THIS BUT IT IS SUPER SOUR... NEEDS SOMETHING MORE. GONNA TRY TO ADD AGAVE SYRUP, MAYBE SOME SWEET SHREDDED COCONUT... IDK GOTTA TONE DOWN THE PUCKER. NEXT TIME I MIGHT USE PINEAPPLE IN LIGHT SYRUP.
