Nothing says summer quite like fresh watermelon, and this Ninja Creami Watermelon Sorbet is one of the easiest frozen treats you can make at home. Made with just a few simple ingredients, this refreshing sorbet is naturally sweet, fruity, and incredibly smooth. It is the perfect way to cool off on a hot afternoon without spending hours in the kitchen.

One of the best things about this recipe is how simple it is. Fresh watermelon provides plenty of natural sweetness and moisture, while a splash of lime juice brightens the flavor and makes the watermelon taste even more refreshing. After freezing the mixture overnight, the Ninja Creami transforms it into a creamy sorbet with an unbelievably smooth texture.

Whether you are serving this at a summer barbecue, enjoying it by the pool, or looking for a lighter frozen dessert, this watermelon sorbet is guaranteed to become one of your favorite Ninja Creami recipes.

    Ingredients Needed:ย Watermelon Sorbet

    Ingredients needed for watermelon sorbet.
    • 2 cups of watermelon, cut into chunks

How to Make Watermelon Sorbet in a Ninja Creami

Cut the watermelon into cubes and remove any large seeds if necessary.

Add the watermelon, sugar, lime juice, and salt to a blender.

    Blend until completely smooth.

Pour the mixture into a Ninja Creami pint container. Be careful not to fill past the max fill line.

Secure the lid and freeze the pint on a level surface for at least 24 hours.

Remove the frozen pint from the freezer and remove the lid.

Place the pint into the Ninja Creami outer bowl and lock it into the machine according to the manufacturer's instructions.

    Select the Sorbet function.

If the sorbet appears crumbly after the first spin, use the Re-Spin function once or twice until the texture becomes smooth and creamy.

Serve immediately or return the pint to the freezer if you prefer a firmer texture.

Garnish with fresh mint or a small wedge of watermelon if desired.

    Pro Tips for Watermelon Sorbet

Choose a very ripe watermelon for the sweetest flavor.

Taste the blended mixture before freezing and adjust the sugar if needed.

Freeze the pint on a completely flat surface to ensure even processing.

Do not skip the Re-Spin cycle if the sorbet looks dry or crumbly. This is completely normal with fruit based recipes.

For an extra refreshing flavor, add a few fresh mint leaves before blending.

A small squeeze of lemon juice can be used in place of lime juice if needed.

    Storage

Store leftover sorbet in the Ninja Creami pint container with the lid securely attached.

Freeze for up to one week for the best flavor and texture.

If the sorbet becomes very firm after refreezing, simply process it again using the Re-Spin function before serving.

What If My Watermelon Sorbet Is Powdery?

This is very common with fruit sorbets. Frozen fruit does not contain fat, so the first spin can look dry or crumbly.

    To fix this

    • Run the Re Spin cycle
    • Add one tablespoon of water or juice if needed
    • Let the pint sit at room temperature for five minutes before spinning

After re spinning, the sorbet becomes smooth and scoopable.

    Flavor Variations

Try mixing in other fruits for fun flavor combinations.

    • Watermelon and strawberry
    • Watermelon and pineapple
    • Watermelon lime
    • Watermelon mint

You can also add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a creamy high protein version.
