Easy 1 Ingredient Frozen Fruit Recipe
If you are looking for a super refreshing summer dessert that is naturally dairy free and low in calories, this Ninja Creami watermelon sorbet is one of the easiest recipes you can make. All you need is frozen watermelon. That is it.

This simple fruit sorbet turns out light, fluffy, and scoopable after one or two spins in the Ninja Creami. It tastes like a frozen watermelon slushie but with a creamier texture. I love making this recipe during hot weather when watermelon is sweet and in season.
It is also a great option if you want a healthier frozen dessert with no added cream or heavy sugar. This recipe works well for Weight Watchers style eating and anyone who wants a naturally sweet treat.

How to Make Watermelon Sorbet
- Add the cut up watermelon plus itโs juice to one of the pints the Ninja Creami came with.
- Set the pint in the freezer for 24 hours.
- When the ice cream is ready use the Sorbet setting on your Ninja Creami machine.
- Choose respin again until itโs the desired consistency you like.
- Enjoy!
What If My Watermelon Sorbet Is Powdery?
This is very common with fruit sorbets. Frozen fruit does not contain fat, so the first spin can look dry or crumbly.
To fix this
- Run the Re Spin cycle
- Add one tablespoon of water or juice if needed
- Let the pint sit at room temperature for five minutes before spinning
After re spinning, the sorbet becomes smooth and scoopable.
Flavor Variations
Try mixing in other fruits for fun flavor combinations.
- Watermelon and strawberry
- Watermelon and pineapple
- Watermelon lime
- Watermelon mint
You can also add a scoop of vanilla protein powder for a creamy high protein version.
Storage Tips
Sorbet is best eaten right after spinning. If you refreeze leftovers, the texture will become firm again.
To serve again
Let the pint sit on the counter for ten minutes and run the Re Spin cycle.

Can you do this with other fruits?

Because I calculated the points based on the nutrition info for Watermelon.

Why is this 1 Smart Point? The watermelon is free - even four cups?

That sounds good too! Will not add very many calories either.
