    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • Optional: 1 teaspoon granulated sugar or coconut sugar (for extra sweetness)

Step 2 Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon mixture over one side of the apple slices. Flip the slices and sprinkle the other side as well.

Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (150°C) for about 5 minutes. This helps to ensure even cooking.

Step 3 Place the seasoned apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Avoid overlapping the slices to ensure they crisp up properly. You may need to cook them in batches, depending on the size of your air fryer.

    Air Fry the Apple Chips:

Cook the apple slices at 380°F (150°C) for 5-7 minutes. Check for doneness after 5 minutes.

    Serving Suggestions

It is fun to dip the finished apple chips in some Greek yogurt dip with cinnamon & honey or cream cheese wit maple syrup swirl. Caramel dip and pumpkin hummus are also good options for dipping.

Crumble the apple chips on top of a Protein Yogurt Parfaits or Air Fryer Grilled Cheese with Mayo sandwich.

    Air Fryer Apple Chips Tips

    • Once the apple slices are done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
    • Store the cooled apple chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week.
    • For an extra touch, drizzle a tiny bit of honey over the apple slices before seasoning with cinnamon.
    • Experiment with different apple varieties to find your favorite flavor and texture.
    • If you prefer chewier apple chips, reduce the cooking time slightly.

What air fryer is best for air fryer apple chips?

I have a Ninja Foodi Grill that has an air fryer and dehydrator attachment. I tested both and Corsi air fryer (listed below). The Ninja Foodi Grill with dehydrator seemed to work better for making apple chips.

    How do I store leftovers?

Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container.

    Description

Looking for a quick and delicious Fall treat that is also Weight Watcher friendly? These Air Fryer Apple Chips are perfect for satisfying those sweet cravings. It's easy to make and only requires a few ingredients: apples and cinnamon.

    Ingredients

    Scale
    • 2 medium-sized apples (any variety, but Honeycrisp or Fuji work well)
    • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
    • Optional: 1 teaspoon granulated sugar or coconut sugar (for extra sweetness)

    Instructions

Wash and dry the apples thoroughly.

Using a sharp knife or a mandoline slicer, thinly slice the apples into rounds. Aim for slices about ⅛-inch thick for the best results.

Remove any seeds or hard bits from the center of each apple slice.

In a small bowl, mix the ground cinnamon (and sugar, if using).

Evenly sprinkle the cinnamon mixture over one side of the apple slices. Flip the slices and sprinkle the other side as well.

Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for about 5 minutes. This helps to ensure even cooking.

Place the seasoned apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

    Notes

Once the apple slices are done, carefully remove them from the air fryer and let them cool on a wire rack. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
