Ninja Creami Vanilla Ice Cream in a clear pint container.

Kohl’s had one last Ninja Creami in the store yesterday so I grabbed it. My last Ninja Creami ended up burning inside somewhere and I coudn’t use the blade on it anymore. I think my problem was putting whole frozen fruit in it. This time I’m going to make sure everything is properly blended first adding it. I can’t wait to make ice cream again. I love my Air Fryer, Blackstone, and Ninja Creami!

I made vanilla ice cream and added in some chopped up chocolate bars during the respin part!

Why You Will Like the Ninja Creami

    • Ninja Creami’s can make smoothie bowls, ice cream, gelato, sorbet, and even milkshakes!
    • If the blending didn’t work the first time try adding some more juice or milk to it and do a second respin.
    • For sorbets use canned fruit or fresh fruit. It just doesn’t make any sense to defrost frozen fruit and then refreeze it in the Ninja Creami machine.
    • Find a good base ice cream for vanilla and you can add whatever toppings you like to the ice cream for mix ins.
    • The Ninja Creami is kind of loud when it is spinning in the machine. Just warning you before you attempt to make ice cream. 🙂
    • Protein drinks like Fairlife and Premiere work great in a Ninja Creami.
    • This is the Ninja Creami machine I have. Ninja CN301CO CREAMi Ice Cream Maker (Amazon Link)

Ingredients Needed for Vanilla Ice Cream

    • Cream Cheese - the whipped cream cheese works very well for this if you don't want to mix it. Make sure it's room temperature.
    • Heavy Cream - To make this ice cream dairy free use dairy free milk same goes for milk.
    • Milk - 2% or 1 % milk
    • Sugar - Or regular granulated sugar, I do not use sugar substitutes in any of my recipes but if you know the conversions feel free to do so
    • Vanilla Extract - Use fresh vanilla beans or vanilla extract (whatever one you have!
    • Optional: a few fresh mint leaves for garnish
    • See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

How to Make Vanilla Ice Cream in Ninja Creami

Step 1: In a bowl add the cream and place it in the microwave for 24 seconds. Add the sugar, and vanilla, Stir well to combine. I just used a fork to stir this.

Cream cheese and sugar mixed together in a bowl,

Step 2: Then mix in the heavy cream and milk. Pour into Ninja Creami Pint.

Sugar stirred together with milk in a bowl.

Step 3: Set the pint in the freezer for 24 hours.

Vanilla ice cream mixture poured into pint.

Step 4: When the ice cream is ready use the ice cream setting on your Ninja Creami machine. Respin if the top looks too crumbly and add more milk if necessary!

Best Milk to Use for Vanilla Ice Cream

The type of milk you use can change the texture of your vanilla ice cream.

Here are some common options and how they affect the final result:

      Milk TypeTexture Result
Whole milkCreamy but lighter ice cream
Milk + heavy creamRich and scoopable texture
Ultra-filtered milk (like Fairlife)Smooth and higher protein
Almond milk or oat milkLighter, slightly icy texture

For a classic vanilla ice cream texture, many people like using whole milk with a splash of heavy cream.

Mix-In Ideas for Vanilla Ninja Creami Ice Cream
