This dairy-free chocolate ice cream, a beloved dessert around the globe, boasts a rich history and an even richer flavor. Originating from the early 18th century, chocolate ice cream quickly captured the hearts of sweet-toothed individuals everywhere.

2 years ago I started to struggle with dairy and this has been my go-to ninja creami recipe lately. My favorite dairy-free milk is Ripple and then I also use a vegan plant based protein powder. This whole entire pint is 30 g of protein with zero dairy in it.

Kohl’s had one last Ninja Creami in the store yesterday so I grabbed it. My last Ninja Creami ended up burning inside somewhere and I coudn’t use the blade on it anymore. I think my problem was putting whole frozen fruit in it.

This time I’m going to make sure everything is properly blended first adding it. I can’t wait to make ice cream again. I love my Air Fryer, Blackstone, and Ninja Creami!

Why You Will Love this Chocolate Ice Cream

If you love Ninja Creami Vanilla Ice Cream in the Ninja Creami you will like chocolate ice cream!

To make a Ninja Creami Dairy Free Ice Cream version of chocolate ice cream use a dairy free protein drink like OWYN, 3 tablespoons of chocolate pudding mix, and 1 tablespoon of PB2 powder.

Chocolate ice cream is fun to experiment with. You can experiment with all sorts of milk, non dairy milk, yogurt, or cottage cheese for more protein.

I decided to try this with cottage cheese again and add more flavorings like peanut butter and maple syrup for sweetener. It turned out better than the Viral cottage cheese ice cream that went crazy last year. It's a nice and thick ice cream.

You can also make protein chocolate ice cream with your favorite protein brand of protein drinks.

Why You Will Love the Ninja Creami

    • Ninja Creami’s can make smoothie bowls, ice cream, gelato, sorbet, and even milkshakes!
    • Respin! If the blending didn’t work the first time try adding some more juice or milk to it and do a second respin.
    • Vanilla or Chocolate ice cream is a great base for many different mix-ins!
    • The Ninja Creami is kind of loud when it is spinning in the machine. Just warning you before you attempt to make ice cream. 🙂
    • Protein drinks like Fairlife and Premiere work great in a Ninja Creami.
    • This is the Ninja Creami machine I have. Ninja CN301CO CREAMi Ice Cream Maker (Amazon Link)
