Sugar-Free Strawberry Sauce for ice cream, waffles, french toast, peanut butter toast you name it! I've been using this sauce on top of the banana ice cream and it is to die for. Perfect for Spring and Summer!
Most store-bought jams and sauce have so much extra sugar added to them but did you know it is super easy to make fruit sauce at home? After making my Sugar-Free Instant Pot Apple Sauce I was wondering if you could do the same thing with other types of fruits and this is the first time I’ve been able to get strawberries to work. It took me a couple of tries to get this right but I finally did and I was very impressed with the taste and how much the sauce was so much like a jam consistency without using any pectin or cornstarch. Then I got super excited as to what this sauce could go on top of.
There’s no reason to add any extra sugar or sugar substitutes this recipe because the fruit is sweet enough on their own. Whenever I’m at the grocery one thing I look for on applesauce is unsweetened and the same goes for any type of juices. The amount of sugar that goes into food like that is ridiculous! This sugar-free strawberry sauce is great for people who are low carb, keto, or trying to cut back on sugar intake.

Tips for Sugar-Free Strawberry Sauce
A pound of strawberries boiled down will equal about a ¾ cup to 1 cup of sauce. There are 12 tablespoons of sauce per ¾ cup and 16 tablespoons for 1 cup.
The whole entire cup is zero points. You can double the sauce and add more strawberries to make more.
This sauce is zero points because the strawberries are not blended, they are simply boiled down to the sauce consistency.
Imagine this super tasty sugar-free strawberry sauce on top of peanut butter toast, banana ice cream, waffles, pancakes, etc.
To make banana ice cream simply puree some frozen sliced bananas in a blender or food processor and top with strawberry sauce.

I am not affiliated with WW formerly known as Weight Watchers in any way. I am just a member who likes to create WW recipes and share them with everyone. Freestyle is the name of the current program of WW and smart points are calculated for the recipes. Some blogs list them as freestyle smart points and some list them as smart points. There is no difference between the 2.
There are some recipes on this page that contain OLDER points values from previous Weight Watcher programs on them. Just writing this here so that people are aware of this.
How is this a WW recipe?
NO FOOD is off limits on WW and WW themselves stresses that a lot on their social media pages. That is one reason why I love WW. You can pretty much eat ANYTHING to lose weight just as long as you stay in your daily points range for that.
How does Weight Watchers work?
Each recipe or food has a Smart Points value. This is calculated using calories, saturated fat, protein, and sugar. It is best to stay away from foods that are loaded with saturated fat and sugar on the plan because those foods are higher in points. When you register with Weight Watchers you are given a daily set of points to target based on your age, gender, height, and activity level. Think of it as an easier way to track your macros.
What foods are free on Weight Watchers?
Check my zero points list here.
Can you lose weight on Weight Watchers?
Yes you can! I did Points Plus (which is an older WW plan) and lost 20 pounds. I have also lost 12.8 pounds doing Freestyle. Weight loss is a slow and steady progress and a lot of people are discouraged when they do lose weight fast enough. Just remember this as a rule and look for people to follow on social media that will continue to inspire you to lose weight.
