When I want something quick, fresh, and satisfying, this 3-ingredient guacamole is my go-to plus it's also Weight Watcher friendly. It’s creamy, tangy, and full of flavor — without all the chopping and extra ingredients you see in traditional guac recipes. If you’ve got ripe avocados, some pico de gallo, and a little fresh cilantro, you’re basically five minutes away from dipping bliss.

This version is also super Weight Watchers–friendly, budget-friendly, and easy to scale for one person or a whole party.

🧡 Why You’ll Love This Guacamole

I've made quite a bit of guacamole in my lifetime time and I don't like keeping all the vegetables in my fridge like the onions, jalapeno, tomatoes, and cilantro. This is a quick fix for guacamole that you can make in a hurry with minimal ingredients.

    • ✅ This guacamole is only 3 ingredients (but tastes like way more effort!) The store bought pico de Gallo or tomato salsa is already made so all you have to do is mix!
    • ✅ I got all these ingredients from Aldi – my favorite store and it was so easy!
    • ✅ Naturally gluten-free, dairy-free, and plant-based
    • ✅ WW points are low when portioned smartly
    • ✅ Perfect for parties, tacos, or adding healthy fat to meals
    • ✅ Comes together in just 5 minutes — no food processor, no stress

I’ve been on a mission to simplify my cooking lately, and this shortcut guacamole has been a lifesaver. It's the perfect way to elevate any meal without extra work — and it’s a great option when you're trying to reduce additives and stick to whole foods. Kind of like this recipe for 3 Ingredient Tartar Sauce.

    🥑 Ingredients You’ll Need

    • 2 ripe avocados – peeled, pitted, and ready to mash
    • ¼ to ½ cup pico de gallo – store-bought or homemade - I picked up the Mild container from Aldi.
    • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro – for that pop of flavor

That’s it! The pico does most of the heavy lifting since it usually contains chopped tomato, onion, and a bit of lime. You can adjust the amount based on your texture preference — I like mine chunky with a bit of bite.

🧑‍🍳 How to Make 3-Ingredient Guacamole

Step 1 Mash the avocados in a medium bowl using a fork. I like to leave some chunks for texture, but go smooth if that’s your style.

    Avocados mashed in a bowl.

Step 2 Stir in the pico de gallo and chopped cilantro. Fold it in gently until everything’s combined.

Step 3 Taste and adjust — you can add more salt, a squeeze of lime, or a little diced jalapeño if you like extra heat.

Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface to prevent browning.

    🧠 Pro Tips from Experience

    • If your pico is very watery, drain off some of the liquid before mixing it in to keep your guac thick.
    • Add a squeeze of lime juice if you want a little more tang and longer freshness.
    • For a spicier kick, mix in a few jalapeño slices or your favorite hot sauce.
    • Want to bulk it up? Stir in some black beans or grilled corn kernels for a more hearty dip.

    🍽 Serving Suggestions

    • Spoon onto tacos, burrito bowls, or grilled chicken
    • Dip with veggie sticks, Air Fryer Tortilla Chips (Low Carb), or plantain chips
    • Spread on Air Fryer Avocado Toast for a quick and easy breakfast
    • Add a dollop to eggs, wraps, or salads for healthy fat and flavor

    Recipe FAQS

Can I make this guacamole ahead of time?

Yes, but it’s best served fresh. To prevent browning, store it with plastic wrap pressed directly onto the surface and keep it in the fridge for up to 1 day.

What kind of pico de gallo works best for guacamole?

Fresh, chunky pico with minimal liquid is ideal. If it’s very juicy, just strain it a bit before adding it in.
