Ingredients Needed Chicken and Stuffing Casserole
- 1 ½ cups low sodium chicken broth - The best type of stock to use is one that is homemade. For canned stock, I look for ones that say reduced sodium or fat free.
- 1 box of Stove Top Stuffing Mix - what a fun recipe to make with a box of stove top stuffing mix!
- 3 cups of shredded rotisserie chicken - is a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes such as tacos, burritos, salads, sandwiches, and soups. It is a great way to add protein to your meals and can be prepared easily at home.
- 1 can of Cream of Chicken Soup - I always keep a few cans of this in my pantry for casserole recipes
- 8 oz sour cream - if you forgot the sour cream at the store just use more cream of chicken soup
- 1 teaspoon of herbs de Provence or poultry seasoning - or your favorite seasoning
- 1 can of Green Beans
- 8 oz Shredded Cheese - I like to use Reduced-Fat Cheese because it has a lower calorie count and less saturated fat than regular cheese, but it may also have a different taste and texture. It also helps with keeping the calorie count pretty low for this recipe.
- 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter - is the most commonly used type of butter in baking, as it allows for more control over the amount of salt in the recipe.
