Making biscuits in a waffle maker is a creative twist on the traditional baking method. To start, prepare your favorite biscuit dough recipe. Once the dough is ready, preheat your waffle maker on high and lightly coat it with non-stick cooking spray. Then, place a small amount of the biscuit dough onto the center of each waffle plate. Close the lid and let it cook for about 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.

This method is a fun and easy way to switch things up with your biscuit recipe and impress your family and friends with your creativity. Enjoy!

Depending on what size waffle iron you use, you can cook more or less at a time. I prefer cooking one biscuit at a time and I’ve tried 4 at once. My waffle iron has an automatic setting on it so when the waffle iron beeps the cooking is done.

Using store bought biscuit dough can make an awesome breakfast sandwich.

What do I need to make Biscuit Waffles?

    • Pillsbury Buttermilk Biscuits are a popular breakfast item in America. These biscuits are made with flour, buttermilk, baking powder, and other ingredients. They are easy to bake and take only a few minutes to prepare.
    • Maple syrup is a sweet and delicious natural product that is made by boiling down the sap of maple trees. It is a popular topping for pancakes, waffles, and French toast, as well as an ingredient in many baked goods and other recipes.
    • Grade A maple syrup is the lightest and most mild, while Grade B syrup is darker and more flavorful.
    • See the recipe card below for a full list of ingredients and measurements.

    Tips for Canned Biscuit Waffles

Use the biscuit waffles to make breakfast sandwiches. Add some cooked scrambled eggs, cheese, and some bacon.

On a mini dash waffle iron you might need to press down biscuit and flatten it more to fit in the waffle iron. They can become kind of big and puffy if you don't flatten them out first.

Top the waffles with your favorite waffle topping of choice. Frozen defrosted berries, sugar free maple syrup, or whipped topping.

Can you cook canned biscuits in a waffle maker?

Yes, you can cook canned biscuits in a waffle maker. I have a mini dash waffle iron and you can only do one biscuit at a time. Larger waffle irons you can do 2 or more at a time.
