Why You Will Love This Recipe
- Uses store bought cinnamon rolls for a shortcut like this bread made from crescent rolls - Cinnamon Roll Loaf or Crescent Roll Bread Hack
- Turns out soft, fluffy, and extra gooey
- Only a few ingredients needed
- Perfect for beginners or busy mornings
- Great for holidays, brunch, or dessert
- Easy to customize with extra toppings
Brown Sugar and Butter Topping
When making a batch of regular cinnamon rolls from scratch, usually the brown sugar and butter mixture is spread on top of the dough. Instead, this mixture just gets poured over the top of the already made buns. Pretty easy peasy.
Some accounts only use the heavy cream on the bottom of the pan but I think the brown sugar and melted butter give it a little something extra.
What Ingredients do I need for Cinnamon Rolls?

- Canned Cinnamon Rolls - Depending on the amount of cinnamon rolls you need and how much people you plan on feeding get whatever size can you need. For two servings usually the 5 count cinnamon roll can is fine.
- Heavy Cream - The videos Iโve seen on Tiktok really have no set amount of heavy cream that needs to be used. They just pour it on the bottom of the pan until itโs completely covered.
- Butter - is the most commonly used type of butter in baking, as it allows for more control over the amount of salt in the recipe.
- Brown Sugar - Is made by combining granulated white sugar with molasses, which gives it a brown color and a slightly different taste than regular white sugar.

Pro Tips
- Do not skip the heavy cream. It is what makes this recipe special
- Use room temperature heavy cream so it absorbs better
- Pour the cream slowly so it distributes evenly
- Cover with foil for the first half of baking if you want extra soft rolls
- Add chopped pecans or walnuts for texture
- A pinch of salt can help balance the sweetness
Storage
Store leftover cinnamon rolls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
To reheat, microwave for about 20 to 30 seconds until warm. You can also cover them with foil and warm them in the oven.
If they seem a little dry after reheating, add a small splash of cream before warming to bring back moisture.

Jenna says
yes just assemble and bake in the morning!
Patricia says
can I make these up the night before and bake in the morning?
Jenna says
Yeah just use less next time. Some of the videos I see online don't really measure or list the amount of cream they use.
Samantha says
Pretty good. Although I think the proportions are off. 1 pint of heavy cream for 5 cinnamon rolls is way too much. I used half that amount, cooked it 10 minutes longer and it was still really soupy. Yummy, but didnโt get the caramelization it would have with less liquid. Now I know for next time: )
