Here’s another recipe from Tiktok that I tried and it’s a savory ramen recipe. I love Tiktok and it's incredibly addicting! This has been a recipe on my list to try for quite some time and now and I'm finally sharing it. The recipe is from @harleen.eats.
The sauce for this ramen is made of soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic and then an egg gets cooked into the noodles. Everything bagel seasoning is a bagel spice that is made with poppy seeds and this spice adds a unique umami flavor to the dish. It’s a really simple recipe that comes together quickly and it’s perfect for someone living alone or with two people.
If you love spicy ramen noodles try my Ramen Noodles with Spicy Korean Dressing or Ramen Noodles with Shrimp.
One thing I’ve noticed about recipes from Tiktok is that the social media app name has to be in front of the recipe or else it isn’t cool or hip. Get what I mean here? It has to be Tiktok this or Tiktok that. That has never happened with any other social media app before. You don’t see food bloggers saying Facebook ramen now don’t you? Would you eat something titled that? Ha!! Probably not now. I know it's a pretty bad observation right? 🙂

How to Make Viral Tiktok Ramen Recipe
Step 1: Cook the noodles according to the package directions. Do not over cook them because they will continue cooking in the sauce.
Step 2: Make the sauce by heating a non-stick skillet to medium heat. Add the butter and melt. Then add the garlic powder, soy sauce, and brown sugar.
Step 3: Dump the noodles in and stir. Season with crushed red pepper flakes and Everything Bagel seasoning.
Step 4: Create a space for the egg to cook inside the pan. Crack the egg and add it to the empty space. Let it cook until the egg whites start setting and then break it up into the noodles.
Step 4: Garnish the ramen with some scallions, Everything bagel seasoning, or sesame seeds.
Enjoy!
Ramen Hack Tips
- For garlic, use minced garlic or garlic powder
- Use a low sodium soy sauce. I like brands such as Kikkoman (shop on Amazon) or Trader Joe’s.
- Sugar substitutes can be used if you don’t want to use regular brown sugar.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for larger families or servings.
- Don’t have Everything Bagel Seasoning? It’s easy to make and I have a recipe for it here. Or you can just buy it on Amazon.
- Instead of butter use olive oil or avocado oil
- For more added protein instead of egg try it with some cooked shrimp or chicken.
What can I serve this recipe?
- Salad: A great way to get more fiber and vegetables into your diet is to have a salad with your meal. Try Cucumber and Sweet Pepper Salad
- Protein options you can try with Ramen noodles are this Easy 3 Ingredient Grilled Chicken Marinade
- Vegetables: Smoked potatoes or smoked asparagus is a great side dish to have with salmon.
How Do I Store Leftovers?
Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container before putting it in the freezer or fridge.
This can be prepped the day ahead.

Boil your instant noodles for only like 1 1/2 minutes, for a double batch I used 4 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of butter, 3 eggs, lots of chili flakes and green onion for garnish. Came out wonderful.

So good. I was worried about overcooking the noodles, but I did it!! 1 tbsp butter, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 and 1/4 tsp of brown sugar (I like sugar lol!) Just a dazzle of red pepper flakes, and an egg! So good! Might even add a second egg next time 🙂
Jenna says
Add a little chicken broth to it or water perhaps?
Ty says
I like it! But I need to figure out how to make it a little more watery.
Jenna says
Glad you liked it!

This was delicious on so many levels. I added mushrooms to it and it was even better than expected.
ur mom says
Very good but a little salty. I recommend to put only 2 tbs of soy sauce in it.
