Here’s another recipe from Tiktok that I tried and it’s a savory ramen recipe. I love Tiktok and it's incredibly addicting! This has been a recipe on my list to try for quite some time and now and I'm finally sharing it. The recipe is from @harleen.eats.

The sauce for this ramen is made of soy sauce, brown sugar, and garlic and then an egg gets cooked into the noodles. Everything bagel seasoning is the star and adds a unique umami flavor to the dish. It’s a really simple recipe that comes together quickly and it’s perfect for someone living alone or with two people.
One thing I’ve noticed about recipes from Tiktok. The social media app name has to be in front of the recipe or else it isn’t cool or hip. Get what I mean here? It has to be Tiktok this or Tiktok that. That has never happened with any other social media app before. You don’t see food bloggers saying Facebook ramen now don’t you? Would you eat something titled that? Ha!! Probably not now. I know it's a pretty bad observation right? 🙂
Usefull Tips
- For garlic, use fresh or garlic powder
- Use a low sodium soy sauce. I like brands such as Kikkoman (shop on Amazon) or Trader Joe’s.
- Sugar substitutes can be used if you don’t want to use regular brown sugar.
- This recipe can be easily doubled for larger families or servings.
- Don’t have Everything Bagel Seasoning? It’s easy to make and I have a recipe for it here. Or you can just buy it on Amazon.

How to Make
For the full recipe, please see the recipe card below.
Cook the noodles according to the package directions. Do not over cook them because they will continue cooking in the sauce.
Make the sauce by heating a non-stick skillet to medium heat. Add the butter and melt. Then add the garlic powder, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Dump the noodles in and stir. Season with crushed red pepper flakes and Everything Bagel seasoning.
Create a space for the egg to cook inside the pan. Crack the egg and add it to the empty space. Let it cook until the egg whites start setting and then break it up into the noodles.
Garnish the ramen with some scallions, Everything bagel seasoning, or sesame seeds.
Enjoy!

Boil your instant noodles for only like 1 1/2 minutes, for a double batch I used 4 tablespoons of light soy sauce, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic and 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 1/2 tablespoons of brown sugar, 2 tablespoons of butter, 3 eggs, lots of chili flakes and green onion for garnish. Came out wonderful.

So good. I was worried about overcooking the noodles, but I did it!! 1 tbsp butter, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 and 1/4 tsp of brown sugar (I like sugar lol!) Just a dazzle of red pepper flakes, and an egg! So good! Might even add a second egg next time 🙂

Very good but a little salty. I recommend to put only 2 tbs of soy sauce in it.
