You might be thinking to yourself people who name their recipes "better than sex cake" aren't doing it right. Or, how is this a WW recipe? Yes, sadly I do get those types of comments and questions a lot but one reason why I enjoy Weight Watchers is that NO FOOD is off limits.

Why You Will Love This Recipe
If you're on WW or just eating a low calorie diet this cake is pretty low in calories with the substitutes I used.
Dairy Free Option: I tried making the frosting with Fair Life Milk since I've really cut back on milk in my diet. It works great and makes a really thick pudding. I could eat just the frosting alone. This milk has very high protein and it's lactose free.
All these Ingredients you can get at Aldi. Just use the Benton's Cake Mix brand there. The wafers are crushed up knoppers.
Ingredients Needed

- Cake Mix - We like to keep things simple around here and this recipe uses a box of cake mix
- Diet soda - Using diet soda is an old WW trick or hack if you must to help lower the calories in a box of cake mix. Any flavor will do.
- Instant Vanilla Pudding (sugar-free) - I’m a semi-homemade cook and whenever I can use ingredients like this I love them. Just add in milk to the pudding. There are different sizes of pudding mix. The regular pudding mix are 3.4 oz and the sugar-free are 1oz. Both require the same amount of milk used.
- Cool Whip - A frozen whipped topping that is found in the freezer section of the grocery store. I like it a lot because I’m lazy and don’t like beating heavy cream to make whipped cream. 😉
- Milk or skim milk - if you want to add more protein try adding in Fairlife Protein Milk
- Heath Bars are originally used for this recipe. When this recipe was first published on this site I had used Skinny Cow Bars cause they were really low in points. You can sub Kit Kats or crushed Oreos.

Step 3: While the cake is cooking make the frosting. Whisk together the instant pudding and milk in a bowl. Then fold in the thawed cool whip.

Step 4: Chop whatever candy bars you decided to put over the cake.
Step 5: Once the cake has cooled, top with the frosting and the chopped candy bars.

Pro Tips for Better Than Sex Cake
- Let the cake cool first: Allow the cake to cool completely before adding the pudding layer so the pudding stays thick and creamy.
- Poke plenty of holes: Use the handle of a wooden spoon or a similar utensil to make holes throughout the cake. This gives the pudding plenty of places to soak in.
- Prepare the pudding just until thickened: Follow the package directions and avoid letting the pudding sit too long before spreading it over the cake.
- Spread the pudding evenly: Make sure the pudding reaches all the way across the cake so every slice gets plenty of creamy filling.
- Chill before serving: Refrigerating the cake gives the layers time to set and allows the flavors to blend together.
- Don't skip the chilling time: This cake gets even better after it has had time to chill, making it an excellent make-ahead dessert.
Serving Suggestions
Better Than Sex Cake is best served cold and makes an easy dessert for family dinners, potlucks, holidays, and parties. Cut it into squares and serve straight from the refrigerator.
Because this cake is so rich and creamy, smaller slices are usually all you need for a satisfying dessert.
Storage and Freezing
Store Better Than Sex Cake covered tightly in the refrigerator for up to 3 to 4 days. Since the cake contains pudding and whipped topping, it should remain refrigerated until you're ready to serve it.
To freeze: For the best results, freeze the cake before adding the final whipped topping layer. Wrap the cake tightly in plastic wrap and then place it in a freezer-safe container. Freeze for up to 1 month.

Yah any type of chocolate candy bar would be good. I haven't found many low point options tho!

Can I switch out the Kitcat candy bars for another candy bar?
