Banana Snickers

Frozen banana snickers have the taste of a snickers bar but without all the guilt.  Snickers bars have a gooey nugget filling and the frozen banana replaces that. Then it gets topped with peanut butter, melted chocolate, and chopped nuts. This is another trendy dessert I saw people making on Tiktok this week. Kids and adults will both enjoy eating them this Summer.

What Ingredients do I need?

Bananas  - Cut into half and then they get sliced length wise. Make sure they are ripe.

Peanut Butter - Please use real peanut butter here with just peanuts as the ingredient. I get a jar of it at Costco and it’s the Kirkland Brand

Chocolate - melted in the microwave - If you are looking to make this Vegan friendly look for chocolate labeled vegan on it.

Peanuts - If you’re allergic to peanuts any type of nut will. Pistachios or slivered almonds would be good.

How to Banana Snickers

To print the recipe see the full recipe card below.

Cut a medium banana into two pieces and then slice them lengthwise down the middle.

Spread the peanut butter over the flat top of the bananas.

Melt some chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl. Drizzle the chocolate over the peanut butter layer.

Chop the peanuts or crush the peanuts in a food processor, then sprinkle them over the chocolate. Place the banana slices on a sheet pan to freeze.

When you are ready to eat them,  let the banana snickers sit out 5 minutes for a bit or else the banana will be hard to chew.

These look great! I was searching your website for a written recipe for the chocolate crunch bars, but couldn’t find them (I want to pin it for later)

I really loved this recipe, this is my second time trying it! I have a sweet tooth especially at night and this honestly satisfies me more than ice cream and doesn’t make me feel guilty.
