    Chicken Breasts on Blackstone

If you slice the chicken breasts down the middle so that they are even in size, they will cook very fast.

You can also easily tell when the chicken breast are cook on one side. I just let them cook so many minutes per side. The chicken breast will start to turn its white color/tan color they normally do and then you flip them. So simple.

You can use the cooked chicken breasts in your meal prep throughout the week!

Add the cooked chicken to my Blackstone Fried Rice next or add some chicken to this Blackstone Tortellini.

Why You Will Love Blackstone Chicken Breasts

As someone who’s prepped hundreds of healthy meals (and battled the dreaded dry chicken more times than I care to admit), this Blackstone chicken breast method is my go-to for fast, flavorful, and never rubbery results.

    • 🔥 Even sear, juicy center thanks to flat-top heat
    • 🧂 Simple seasoning with tons of flexibility
    • 🥗 Perfect for meal prep or quick dinners
    • 💪 High protein, low carb, and WW-friendly
    • 🧑‍🍳 Cook multiple servings at once—great for families or batching lunches

Ingredients Needed for Blackstone Chicken Breasts

    • 1 lb of boneless skinless chicken breast - They’re lean and quick-cooking and always come out juicy and tender. Use an instant-read thermometer to make sure that the chicken is not over cooked. When reading labels for chicken breasts try to find ones that say Organic or Free Range.
    • 2 tablespoons of olive oil - Look for olive oils that are labeled as extra virgin, cold-pressed, and unfiltered for the highest quality.
    • Seasoning of choice - I like Lawry’s, Mrs Dash, or Dano’s.
    • Salt and pepper to taste

    Substitution Tips

    • Chicken: You can use chicken tenderloins (quicker cook) or chicken thighs (juicier with slightly more points).
    • Oil: Use spray oil for fewer calories/WW points, or sub with light butter spread for flavor.
    • Seasonings: Swap in cajun, lemon pepper, BBQ rub, or Italian seasoning based on your meal.
    • Want extra flavor? Marinate in lemon juice, Greek yogurt, or balsamic vinegar for 30+ minutes before cooking. Try this Weight Watchers Lemon Chicken

How to make Blackstone Chicken Breasts

Step 1: Preheat your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat, approximately 375-400°F. This ensures that the cooking surface is hot enough to sear the chicken and lock in the juices.

Step 2: Before you place the chicken on the griddle, pat the breasts dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture. This helps in achieving a good sear. Lightly coat each chicken breast with olive oil to prevent sticking and to help the seasonings adhere. Season both sides generously with salt, pepper, and any other chosen spices.

Seasoned Chicken breasts olive oil and choice of seasoning.

Step 3: Once seasoned, place the chicken breasts on the preheated griddle. Allow them to cook undisturbed for about 5-7 minutes on each side, depending on the thickness of the breasts. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; the internal temperature should reach 165°F.

Step 4: Once the chicken breasts are fully cooked, remove them from the griddle and let them rest for a few minutes before slicing. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat, resulting in a more flavorful and juicy chicken.

    How to Store

Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container.

Blackstone griddles are popular among outdoor cooking enthusiasts because of their versatility and they are also transportable so you can take them camping or to the lake. Unlike traditional grills.
