Breakfast Pizza is the champion of all breakfasts. It uses 2 Ingredient dough for the pizza crust and is topped with lots of cheese, sausage, and scrambled eggs.

Breakfast Pizza

Breakfast pizza brings me back to my days working at a mapping company. On treat days, one of the guys would always order breakfast pizza from Pizza Patrol. I have never had breakfast pizza before and this was so good. It had sausage, cheese, and cooked eggs on top of it. It's kind of like a white pizza, but I think they have some kind of garlic sauce on top of the crust. It's so good, and whenever we get it for treat day, I'm a really happy camper.

The pizza dough is from my easy 2 Ingredient Dough recipe.

Serving Sizes

The breakfast pizza makes a total of 8 slices.

How to Make Breakfast Pizza

1. Preheat oven to 400°.

2. Mix together the dough. Combine the Greek Yogurt and Self Rising Flour in a bowl. Mix the dough together until a ball has formed. Roll out the dough into a round pizza shape.  See my tips above for working with 2 Ingredient Dough.

3. Heat a nonstick skillet to medium heat. Crack two eggs in a bowl and whisk them with a fork. Add the eggs to a skillet and cook the eggs all the way through. Transfer eggs to a plate.

4. Spread nacho cheese sauce on top of the dough. Spread the cheese over the sauce and sprinkle the sausage crumbles on top of the cheese. These can still be frozen since they cook in the oven. Spread the scrambled eggs over the top of the pizza.

Bake in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes.

Tips for Breakfast Pizza

Two Ingredient Dough is kind of hard to work with because it can be sticky. I think it all depends on how humid your home is. You might need a little extra flour to work with but usually, when I form the dough in a bowl there is always a little extra flour left that didn’t get incorporated all into the dough.

Any store-bought pizza dough is fine to use as well. You will have to rework the points for that.

How to freeze breakfast pizza? Allow pizza to cool completely for storing the slices in the freezer or fridge.

What to serve with breakfast pizza?  Breakfast Pizza is great on it’s own for brunch on a Sunday but if you are serving this for a crowd have some fresh fruit available.

FYI I used a store-bought pizza crust such as Boboli but I have used the 2 Ingredient Dough recipe plenty of times to make pizza. The points below are calculated using this recipe.
