Why You Will Like This Recipe

Ever since getting my air fryer I’ve been going through older recipes on this site and updating them to include air fryer instructions. That is, if I know the recipe will work in the air fryer.

These Cheddar Bacon Bombs definitely will work in your air fryer. They are little balls of cooked dough stuffed with cheddar bacon and then get stuffed with a garlic butter spread.

Check out Air Fryer Little Smokies, Air Fryer Pigs in a Blanket and Air Fryer Oreos without Crescent Roll Dough for more dough inspired recipes.

    Ingredients for Cheddar Bacon Bombs

    • Canned Biscuit Dough -  Other items that will work are refrigerated canned pizza dough or frozen bread dough that has been thawed. You can also use Pillsbury Crescent rolls.
    • Cheddar - Any type of cheese that is shredded will be ok. The recipe calls for cubed cheese but you can also use shredded.
    • Bacon  - Use bacon that has already been pre-cooked so it’s easier to assemble the bombs.
    • Olive Oil  -  Look for olive oils that are labeled as extra virgin, cold-pressed, and unfiltered for the highest quality.
    • Parsley  - is a type of herb that is commonly used as a garnish or seasoning in various dishes. It has a bright green color and a mild, slightly bitter taste. Parsley is a good source of vitamins A and C, as well as minerals such as potassium and iron.
    • Oregano is a common herb used in cooking, particularly in Mediterranean and Mexican cuisine. It has a pungent, slightly bitter taste and a strong aroma

    Recipe Tips

    1. Instead of savory bombs make these S'more Bombs!
    2. Preheating ensures that the fries cook evenly and achieve the desired crispiness.
    3. Avoid Overcrowding: Cooking in smaller batches will help the fries cook more evenly and get crispier.
    4. Shaking the Basket: Shaking the basket halfway through cooking helps ensure that all the fries cook evenly.
    5. Experiment with Seasonings: Feel free to experiment with different seasonings like garlic powder, paprika, or Cajun spice to add an extra kick to your fries.
