Looking for a high-protein ice cream that’s creamy, delicious, and easy to make that is also dairy-free and takes less than 5 minutes to make? The Ninja Creami is the perfect tool to transform simple ingredients into a smooth, satisfying treat. Whether you’re following a high-protein diet, weight loss plan, or j

High Protein Dairy Free Ninja Creami ice cream.

The first thing I tried was taking one of my Chocolate Fair Life protein shakes which is 30 grams of protein and freezing the contents of it in the pint container that comes with the appliance. It came out so nice and thick it was an amazing nice little treat to have in the afternoon with lots of protein. You can even make strawberry and vanilla protein ice cream with the flavors they have from Fair LIfe.

This is the next best thing to an air fryer!

💛 Why You Will Love This

As someone who’s always looking for high-protein snacks that don’t taste like cardboard, I can honestly say the Ninja Creami changed the game. This protein ice cream tastes like real dessert—smooth, sweet, and super customizable.

This is my go-to base for making protein ice cream at home now and it comes out the same every time. Sometimes I even add a little bit of peanut butter to it for some extra fat.

It’s perfect for meal prep, and you can tweak the flavors to match your favorite cravings (chocolate, peanut butter, coffee, you name it).

I've also saved quite a bit of money not going to the store and buying ice cream pints and just make it at home now instead.

    It’s also WW-friendly, macro-friendly, and freezer-friendly!

Ingredients Needed for Protein Ice Cream

    • 2 scoops Owyn protein powder (or any plant-based or whey protein powder)
    • 8 oz chocolate almond milk (or Ripple plant-based milk for extra protein)
    • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for enhanced flavor)
    • 1-2 teaspoon sweetener of choice (optional, for extra sweetness)
    • Pinch of salt (balances the flavors)
    • Optional Add-ins: ½ teaspoon xanthan gum (for a creamier texture), cocoa powder for a richer taste

    Substitution Tips

    • Use Fairlife, Ripple, or Owyn protein shakes instead of powder + milk for a shortcut. Most people love using Fairlife Milk cause it's high in protein compared to other milks.
    • Add fruit puree or mashed banana for natural sweetness.
    • Make it dairy-free by using vegan protein and non-dairy milk. I like Ripple. Ninja Creami Dairy Free Ice Cream (High Protein)
    • Stir in collagen peptides, peanut butter, or greek yogurt for a bonus protein boost.
