S'More Cereal Treats

S'More Graham Krispie Treats are made with Golden Graham Cereal instead of your typical Rice Krispie Cereal. Golden Graham cereal really does a good job at mimicking the Graham Crackers that are typically found in s'mores. Do NOT skip on this part. Then chocolate gets melted into the marshmallows to make an easy no-bake cereal bar.

You don't have to start any campfires for this either! Instead of heating up your stove top you can melt the butter and marshmallows in a microwave. Plus, you don't have to wait until summer time to enjoy this either.

How to Make S'More Treats with Gold Grahams

For full recipe see below

  1. In a 9x9 inch baking pan, spray with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  2. In a large non-stick pot over medium heat, melt butter. Add in marshmallows (reserve ¼ cup of marshmallows if you want to sprinkle them on top of the bars) and 1 cup of chocolate chips. Stir together with butter until everything is melted together and creamy.
  3. Fold in Graham cereal until all marshmallows and cereal are evenly coated. Mix in ¼ cup of chocolate chips.
  4. Spread the cereal into sprayed baking pan. Press into pan and sprinkle remaining ¼ cup of chocolate chips on top of the treats (optional), lightly press into the top of treats to make sure they stick. Place into the fridge for 10 minutes to cool.
  5. Microwave - You can also melt the marshmallows, chocolate chips, and butter in a microwave-safe bowl. I usually do mine for a minute. If it is not done add another 30 seconds until everything is melted.Slice into 12 equal bars. Devour. Serving size: 1 bar.
