A s'mores cocktail is an alcoholic beverage that is inspired by the classic campfire treat of s'mores. It typically includes ingredients that mimic the flavors of a s'more, such as chocolate, graham cracker, and marshmallow.
There are many different variations of the s'mores cocktail, but some common ingredients that are often used include chocolate liqueur, graham cracker liqueur, marshmallow vodka, and cream. The ingredients are usually mixed together and served over ice, garnished with a toasted marshmallow or graham cracker crumbs.
There’s this awesome restaurant in downtown Fargo called Pounds and they have some of the best drinks there. They have these dessert cocktails and one of them was a Smores cocktail and I just loved it so much, that I figured out how to make the exact same thing at home. That is what you do when you love something so much!
Why you will love this Cocktail?
This smores cocktail has Godiva and Vanilla whipped vodka and it is topped off with half and half. I prefer to use unsweetened almond milk with mine since I have a dairy sensitivity. You can fancy the drink up and decorate it with toasted marshmallows, Hershey’s candy bars, and rim the edge of the glass with some crushed graham crackers.
Ingredients for S’mores Cocktail
- 1 oz of Godiva Liquor
- 1 oz of Vanilla Whipped Vodka
- 8 oz of Almond Milk, Milk, or Half & Half
Garnishes for S’mores Cocktail
- Chocolate Syrup

How to Make S’mores Cocktail
- Chill a martini glass by filling it with ½ cup of ice and water.
- Place 1 cup of ice cubes into a cocktail shaker. Pour the vanilla-flavored vodka, Godiva, and milk over the ice; cover and shake vigorously. Dump the ice and water from the martini glass and drizzle the inside of the glass with chocolate syrup. Strain the cocktail into the glass to serve.
- Toast a marshmallow on the stove top or use a heat gun to get the marshmallow nice and roasted and place on top of the drink with some cool whip. Garnish with crushed up graham crackers or Hershey’s candy bar.
Bartending Tips for Beginners
- Always keep 6 basic liquors stocked in your bar. Those are Vodka, Whiskey, Rum, Tequila, Gin, and Brandy.
- Different types of liqueurs are also great to have for a well stocked bar. Examples of creme based liqueurs are Rumchata, Kauhula, or Irish Cream
- Essential mixers to keep on hand would be ginger beer, different flavored juices, or or sodas like Sprite and Club.
- Simple syrups are just equal parts sugar and water and you can add whatever extract flavoring you want to them.
- Of course, always keep a variety of different cocktail glasses serving and ice on hand.
