Why You Will Like This Recipe
Dates drizzled with peanut butter and chocolate are one of my favorite snacks lately and also one of Tiktok’s favorite snack. They're so good and make the perfect sweet/salty snack. If you don’t like the taste of plain dates you might like these chocolate-covered ones stuffed with peanut butter. The only hard part is pitting the dates which take no time at all!
Dates are very nutritious and low on the glycemic index. They will not raise your blood sugar levels even when there’s peanut butter inside them. Dates also contain a lot of fiber and potassium.
Ingredients Needed
- Medjool Dates - Medjool dates are a type of large, sweet, and chewy date fruit. They are often referred to as the "king of dates" due to their rich flavor and soft texture. Medjool dates are a good source of fiber, potassium, and other essential nutrients.
- Peanut Butter - Use good peanut butter that is just ground-up peanuts and no other ingredients added to it. Costco’s Kirland’s brand is really good for this. Can always sub PB2 to make it lower points.
- Chocolate - semi-sweet, milk chocolate or whatever type of melting chocolate you prefer
- Chopped Nuts or coarse sea salt - for topping
