Orange Fluff salad is a quick and easy Weight Watchers dessert that can be whipped up in less than 5 minutes and takes no time to prepare!

Orange fluff salad is an old WW dessert back from the 80s and since then the WW program has changed quite a bit. I wasn't even born then (born in 81) and I'm not really sure how WW was calculating points back then. Does anyone else know? If so leave a comment below. Since then there have been so many different ways to calculate points such as points plus, smart points etc.
It is no secret that I love "Fluff salad" desserts on this blog and I have so many of them! They are fast and easy to whip up and you don't need to take out any fancy kitchen equipment for them. Just a bowl and whisk is all I use. I love these type of desserts in the Spring and Summertime and often they can be found in the Midwest here at church potlucks or any type of Holiday gathering. If you are from a different part of the US, you might think this is odd to call this a salad and believe you and me, I think the same thing!

Ingredients Needed for Orange Fluff
- 1 (1oz)- sugar-free orange Jell-O (gelatin)
- 1 15 oz can mandarin oranges (juice packed and drained)
- 1 (8oz) tub of fat-free Cool Whip
- 2 cups of plain Greek Yogurt (unsweetened)
How to Make Orange Fluff Salad
Step 1: Beat together the Cool Whip, yogurt, and orange jello together in a bowl. I like to use a wire whisk for this but you can also use an electric mixer.

Step 2: Gently fold in the drained mandarin oranges and let it sit in the fridge for up to 2 hrs. Each serving is ½ cup and it makes a total of 8 servings.

Sugar-Free and Fat-Free
Some of the products listed below call for Sugar-Free and Fat-Free products and yes I know that when you take out sugar and fat more processed junk and chemicals are added to the package. I do not eat this every day and you can eat whatever you want in moderation. I posted this recipe back in 2012 and since then I've discovered that my digestive system does not handle sugar-free products very well. If you are against sugar-free stuff then don't use them and figure out the points for a recipe are using the WW app.
How do you figure out points for recipes?
Nutrition info is calculated with the zero point food included in the recipe. If you’re using the nutrition info to figure out points it might not be the same as what the points are listed in the notes section. I use the recipe builder to calculate points. Myfitness pal for nutrition info.
Why am I still getting different points from what you have listed?
This could be quite a number of reasons and here are a few that I have come across.
Number of servings
Different brand used
Low-Fat vs Fat-Free ingredients
Using the nutrition info calculator instead of the recipe builder
