Air Fryer Chocolate Cake - You'll never want to cook a cake in your oven again! The air fryer is great for cooking individual-sized cakes.

Air Fryer Chocolate Cake

I love learning new tricks and tips in my air fryer and this one is definitely a keeper. Yes, you can make a cake in your air fryer! I've recently found these perfect size desserts from Duncan Hines. They are THE PERFECT SIZE for someone living alone or if you're craving cake every now and then and you don't have to bust out the cake pans and make a huge entire sheet cake. The Perfect Size cakes come with a pan that can easily be cooked in your air fryer. If you have tried any different pans in your air fryer yet, usually the rule of thumb for that is any pan that you can bake in your oven can also be used in the air fryer. The key point to this is that it has to FIT in your air fryer.

The instructions said to use butter and egg but instead of butter, I used some greek yogurt to make a bit less fattier. You could even use the diet coke method trick and maybe put like half of the can in it and drink the rest. One serving of cake is 11 smart points. I cooked my cake in my air fryer at 250 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Test the cake with a tooth pick and if it comes out clean then it's done! If it doesn't come out just cook the cake in the air fryer for a bit longer. This post is not sponsored by the why. I just really love these individual serving size cake kits for one person and wanted to tell the World that you can bake a cake in your air fryer! 🙂

What are the Best Air Fryers?

I've had 3 or 4 different air fryers or the past 5 years and each one of them has worked very well with the air fryer recipes on this site. If you want to be able to cook more food for your family at once then get an air fryer with a large basket such as 5.3 quarts. Look for ones that say nonstick on them and has multiple program settings.

Power XL Air Fryer 5.3 Quart Basket. - This was my very first air fryer.

Our 5.3QT Power Air-Fryer comes in handy in preparing amazing meals from your cookbook, and frying a variety of dishes, such as: French fries, chicken, steak, roasts, fish tacos and sticks, waffle fries, pies, pudding and donuts.

Ninja Foodi Grill and Air Fryer - This air fryer works very well too but the air fryer setting doesn't go below 300 degrees. If there's a recipe that calls for lower temperatures you have to use the bake setting. It air frys, roasts, grills, and dehydrates food.

Cosori 4 Qt Air Fryer- This air fryer doesn't require any preheating and has several different functions for cooking chicken, meat, frozen foods, etc. There are 5 different functions.

GoWISE USA 1700-Watt 5.8-QT 8-in-1 Digital Air Fryer

Air fryer temperature settings vary according to brand and model. If your air fryer does not have the exact temperature setting called for in the recipe, consult your manual for suggested temperature settings.

Oh, my cake lovin' soul loves this! There is not much of anything tastier than chocolate cake, right? The more I hear about air fryers, the more I need to get one. They sound so handy to have in the kitchen. I've loved my Instant Pot, so now I need to get an air fryer! Thanks for sharing this yummy dessert, made even healthier with yogurt.
