Ninja Creami Lemon Sorbet topped with lemon peel and mint leaves.

After testing different fruit bases in the Ninja Creami, citrus sorbets are some of the most reliable recipes because the natural acidity and sugar create a smooth texture when spun. Lemon sorbet is especially great because it tastes fresh, clean, and not overly heavy like traditional ice cream

Using the Ninja Creami ensures a silky and smooth texture, making your sorbet experience even more delightful. It's easy to use, and with its versatile settings, you can experiment with various flavors and ingredients. I love my Ninja Creami and Air Fryer!

    Ingredients Needed for Lemon Sorbet

    • ยฝ cup lemon juice or freshly squeezed lemon juice - Fresh lemon juice gives the best flavor, but bottled lemon juice works too if thatโ€™s what you have.
    • โ…“ cup sugar - Sweetens the sorbet and helps create a smoother texture when the mixture spins in the Ninja Creami.
    • 1 tablespoon corn syrup - Helps keep the sorbet soft and scoopable
    • 1 cup of water - Balances the lemon juice and helps the sorbet spin smoothly.

    Substitution Tips

    • Honey or maple syrup can be used instead of sugar for a natural sweetener.
    • Add a little lemon zest if you want a more intense lemon flavor.
    • Swap half the lemon juice for lime juice to make a lemon-lime sorbet.
    • If the sorbet tastes too tart, add 1โ€“2 tablespoons more sugar before freezing.
    • Lemon and water is naturall zero points on WW.

Blend in the Ninja Creami: Once frozen, remove the pint from the freezer and attach it to the Ninja Creami Machine. Select the "Sorbet" setting and let the machine do its magic.

Check to see how the sorbet is looking after the first blend. Might have to add in some orange juice or water and then respin it.

Serve: Once blended, scoop the lemon sorbet into a bowl and serve immediately. Enjoy your refreshing homemade ice cream!

Pro Tips for the Best Ninja Creami Sorbet

    Freeze the base completely flat
An even frozen surface helps the machine spin the mixture evenly.

Use the re-spin function if needed
Many sorbets need one extra spin to become creamy.

    Taste before freezing
If the mixture tastes slightly too sweet before freezing, thatโ€™s perfect. Freezing dulls sweetness.
