INGREDIENTS FOR LEMON PASTA
- Pasta - any long noodle such as fettuccine, linguine, or spaghetti will work. The original creator suggested vermicelli.
- Oil
- Butter - preferably grass-fed butter
- Garlic
- Minced fresh garlic
- Fresh lemon juice
- Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh chopped parsley
Optional Additional Toppings for Lemon Pasta: Freshly cooked shrimp or some salmon would be a nice protein to add to this pasta. It almost reminds me of shrimp scampi.
Additional Items Needed: non-stick skillet, deep pot for cooking pasta
HOW TO MAKE TIKTOK LEMON PASTA
- Cook linguini according to package directions, omitting salt and fat. Reserve 1 ladle full of pasta water on the side. Drain. Place linguini in a medium bowl.
- While linguini cooks, melt 3 tablespoons of butter and 3 tablespoons of olive oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
- When the butter has melted add in the lemon juice, reserved pasta water, garlic, and crushed red pepper flakes. Be careful because the pan is really hot and the oil and butter might splatter.
- Transfer the noodles to the pan and toss to coat.
- Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and use garnish with fresh parsley.

- This dish is good by itself but to make it a full meal, I’d serve with some freshly cooked shrimp or salmon. Add some cooked vegetables like broccoli or green beans on the side.
