I used scallions to flavor my cream cheese with but feel free to use any type of herb or seasoning you like. For the seasoning salt, it's just an all-purpose one from Trader Joes. Split the chicken breast down the middle and add about a tablespoon or 2 to the middle of the chicken, then fold it over. You can use a toothpick to secure the chicken if you'd like but the bacon kind of does that. Wrap it up with some bacon and bake it in the oven. Pretty simple and easy bacon wrapped chicken recipe.

Ingredients Needed
- 2 medium-sized boneless skinless chicken breast
- 4oz cream cheese
- 2 tablespoon green onion, Chopped
- 4 slices of baconstrip
- 2 teaspoon of seasoning salt (I used Trader Joe's All Purpose seasoning salt)
Optional Ingredients
Seasonings or spices to upgrade: garlic powder, cayenne pepper, onion powder, paprika, brown sugar
Favorite dipping sauce: barbecue sauce, honey mustard, or ranch sauce
Instead of chicken breasts, you could use chicken tenderloins, skinless chicken thighs, or cut the chicken breast into chicken bites then wrap the bacon around it.
What to serve with the chicken. How bout some roasted potatoes for some extra potassium and green beans on the side.
Storage Tips
Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic, whatever! Just make sure the food is sealed and airtight before storing in the fridge or freezer.
How to make Bacon Wrapped Chicken Breasts
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Mix together cream cheese and green onions in a small bowl. Set aside. Split your chicken breast and cut it down the middle but don't cut it all the way through. Spread about 2 tablespoons of the cream mixture on top of the chicken breast.
Roll Chicken breast up to conceal cream cheese. Sprinkle the seasoning salt on top of the chicken. Wrap bacon around chicken breast and secure with a toothpick. (optional)
Place on baking sheet and bake for 25 minutes at 400
Serving Size: 1 chicken breast, 2 tablespoon of cream cheese and onion mix, and 2 slices of bacon
Air Fryer Instructions: Set the Air Fryer to 400 degrees and place the chicken breasts in the basket. Cook for 8 minutes and then flip the chicken breasts. Continue cooking for 8 minutes longer.
Tips for using Air Fryers
Preheating: Some air fryers require preheating and some do not. Be sure to check your air fryer manual. Mine does not require preheating. If the food ever burns or doesn’t cook properly this could be why the recipe didn’t work for you.
Cooking Times: Please note that all air fryers do not cook the same. Might have to adjust cooking time accordingly. Thank you.
Overcrowding: Do not overcrowd the basket. Some food will not cook properly or all the way through.
Oil: One of the reasons why air fryers are so great is because food doesn’t need a lot of oil. Especially frozen food. Just a small amount is fine or use Cooking Spray.
