Crustless Strawberry Pie

Crustless Strawberry Pie – a low carb and WW friendly sugar-free pie that is super easy to make. Each slice of pie is 0 smart points, 37 calories, and 6 net carbs per slice.

Most people come to this site for WW recipes but I do have a few low carb recipes on here as well. I like to give people options and I also do get tired of making WW recipes every now and then. That is why I will sometimes post Grilling and Smoker recipes on this blog during the Summertime along with drink recipes. I’m not trying to turn people off by doing that but I will also try to add in smart points and calories if I feel the recipe is fit for that!

This pie happens to be WW friendly and Low carb friendly because it doesn’t have a crust and it is low in sugar. If you like pie crusts you can use them but it will add on more points. To make this pie low carb, I used sugar-free pudding and jello. When I was researching the Keto diet, berries are the lowest carb fruits you can get. I eat strawberries by the pint in the Summertime and this crustless strawberry pie will be a new staple recipe. Each slice of pie is 0 smart point, 37 calories, and 6 net carbs per slice. When I made this I halved the recipe so I didn’t have a whole pie and made them into mini pies.

Ingredients for Crustless Strawberry Pie

  • 4 cups fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1oz  package sugar-free vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 1oz  package sugar-free strawberry gelatin

How to Make Crustless Strawberry Pie

  1. Spray a pie plate with cooking spray.
  2. Line the bottom of the plate with the chopped strawberries.
  3. In a medium saucepan, combine the water and vanilla pudding mix.
  4. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  5. When the pudding thickens, remove from the heat.
  6. Stir in the strawberry gelatin until thoroughly combined.
  7. Pour over the strawberries in the pie plate.
  8. Refrigerate until set.

Tips for Crustless Strawberry Pie

You can use a store bought pie crust if you actually like pie crusts. Prebake the pie crust first before adding the jello and strawberries and let it cool.

Garnish the pie with fat-free Reddi Whip or crushed up pretzels on top.

I am not affiliated with WW formerly known as Weight Watchers in any way. I am just a member who likes to create WW recipes and share them with everyone. Freestyle is the name of the current program of WW and smart points are calculated for the recipes. Some blogs list them as freestyle smart points and some list them as smart points. There is no difference between the 2.

How is this a WW recipe?

NO FOOD is off limits on WW and WW themselves stresses that a lot on their social media pages. That is one reason why I love WW. You can pretty much eat ANYTHING to lose weight just as long as you stay in your daily points range for that.

How does Weight Watchers work?

Each recipe or food has a Smart Points value. This is calculated using calories, saturated fat, protein, and sugar. It is best to stay away from foods that are loaded with saturated fat and sugar on the plan because those foods are higher in points. When you register with Weight Watchers you are given a daily set of points to target based on your age, gender, height, and activity level. Think of it as an easier way to track your macros.

What foods are free on Weight Watchers?

Check my zero points list here.

Can you lose weight on Weight Watchers?

Yes you can! I did Points Plus (which is an older WW plan) and lost 20 pounds. I have also lost 12.8 pounds doing Freestyle. Weight loss is a slow and steady progress and a lot of people are discouraged when they do lose weight fast enough. Just remember this as a rule and look for people to follow on social media that will continue to inspire you to lose weight.

It is just the powder being used here and that thickens up when you cook it in the skillet.

Is this cook pudding or instant?
