Cinnamon and sugar flavored tortilla chips that get dipped with a fresh fruit salsa. If you don't have an air fryer use an oven instead!
Air Fryer tortilla chips are something everyone should learn how to make in their air fryer. People are all on different diets or have a gluten intolerance so you can easily make homemade chips. Low carb, gluten free, corn, etc…. These type of tortillas all work in the air fryer. If you are looking for a plain style tortilla chip check out my recipe for Air Fryer Tortilla Chips.
I took the tortilla chips a step further and made a sweet cinnamon sugar tortilla chip. Then I diced up whatever fruit I had on hand and made a fresh salsa out of it. When cutting the fruit make sure to keep the sizes small.
What Ingredients do I need?
In this section, you can find substitutes or suggestions for certain ingredients. I also will try and list out what the ingredients' purpose is for.
Tortillas - As I mentioned above, use whatever tortilla YOU prefer. Low carb, gluten-free, Joseph’s Pita, or a Lavash wrap. Thinner-style tortillas will not take as long to air fry.
White Sugar - Want to use a sugar substitute? Go ahead! Just look up the conversations online for the type of sugar substitute you’re using. Sometimes mangos and kiwi aren't the sweetest so that is why there's a little added sugar in there.
Cinnamon - Can not be substituted for anything else
Fruit - For my fruit salsa, I used mango, apple, and kiwis. Mangos and kiwis are ready when the fruit is soft to the touch. Have an allergy? Use what fruit you aren’t allergic to.
