These Air Fried Oreos are incredible guys! Now you can make the famous fried Oreos at state fairs right at home and it is so simple to do in your air fryer!

Air Fryer Oreos

With air fryers, you eliminate all the extra added oil that they use at State fairs to make these which pack on an extra 500 calories. All you need is 3  ingredients. You will want to bring your air fryer to your lake cabin and make them for everyone instead of S’mores this Summer!

I have adored Oreo cookies since God knows when and this Winter the Triple Stuffed Oreos came out. I had this recipe for air fryer oreos in mind back then but thought it wasn’t appropriate since it was the middle of Winter. I wish Oreos would make packets for single people sold in 8. It’s pretty stupid for me to buy a container of Oreos just for myself and I always feel kind of guilty when I do that. I’d be eating those for weeks and weeks and I love my Oreos dipped in milk. I’ve tried almost every flavor of Oreo but have you tried my Air Fryer Oreos yet? NEXT LEVEL OREOS.

Air Fryer Oreos with Crescent Roll or 2 Ingredient Dough

There are many different ways you can make air fryer Oreos. I tested this recipe with 2 different dough options. Crescent roll dough and the famous 2 ingredient dough recipe.  The crescent roll dough was a lot easier to work with and I liked that dough better but to make these more WW friendly use the 2 Ingredient Dough Recipe.

Air Fryer Oreos

Tips for Air Fryer Oreos

  • Air Fryer Oreos are best served warm right out of the air fryer. To reheat them simply pop them back in the air fryer until the Oreos are heated through.
  • Dust the air fryer Oreos with some powdered sugar and drizzle with some caramel sauce or chocolate syrup.
  • 2 Ingredient Dough can be used for these Air Fryer Oreos! I have tested these with crescent roll dough and this popular dough recipe.
  • Air fryer temperature settings vary according to brand and model. If your air fryer does not have the exact temperature setting called for in the recipe, consult your manual for suggested temperature settings.

Ingredients for Air Fryer Oreos

1 cup of self-rising flour

1 cup of plain nonfat Greek Yogurt

15 Reduced Fat Oreos any kind or flavor

Lite Hershey's Chocolate Syrup

2 teaspoon of powder sugar for dusting

Pam Cooking Spray

How to Make Air Fryer Oreos

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees (200 degrees C). Skip this step if your air fryer doesn’t need pre heating.
  2. Mix together the Greek Yogurt and self rising flour together in a bowl until the dough forms. This dough is quite sticky to work with so you might need extra flour or water to dampen your hands with.
  3. Place an Oreo in the middle of the dough and wrap the dough around the Oreo. If there is any extra dough just cut it off with scissors.
  4. Line an air fryer basket with parchment paper. Spray parchment paper with nonstick cooking spray.
  5. Add the Oreos to the air fryer basket and cook for 4 to 5 minutes; flip and cook until golden brown, 2 to 3 minutes more. Dust the air fryer Oreos with confectioners' sugar.

What is an Air Fryer?

An air fryer is basically a mini convection oven. Because it is such a small space the air is able to get HOT VERY FAST, it circulates around the food and cooks it quickly, creating a crispy outside without drying everything out on the inside.

What are the Best Air Fryers?

I've had 3 or 4 different air fryers or the past 5 years and each one of them has worked very well with the air fryer recipes on this site. If you want to be able to cook more food for your family at once then get an air fryer with a large basket such as 5.3 quarts. Look for ones that say nonstick on them and has multiple program settings.

Power XL Air Fryer 5.3 Quart Basket. - This was my very first air fryer.

Our 5.3QT Power Air-Fryer comes in handy in preparing amazing meals from your cookbook, and frying a variety of dishes, such as: French fries, chicken, steak, roasts, fish tacos and sticks, waffle fries, pies, pudding and donuts.

Ninja Foodi Grill and Air Fryer - This air fryer works very well too but the air fryer setting doesn't go below 300 degrees. If there's a recipe that calls for lower temperatures you have to use the bake setting. It air frys, roasts, grills, and dehydrates food.

Cosori 4 Qt Air Fryer- This air fryer doesn't require any preheating and has several different functions for cooking chicken, meat, frozen foods, etc. There are 5 different functions.

GoWISE USA 1700-Watt 5.8-QT 8-in-1 Digital Air Fryer

Air fryer temperature settings vary according to brand and model. If your air fryer does not have the exact temperature setting called for in the recipe, consult your manual for suggested temperature settings.

I dislike Oreos, (wait for gasp!) I did use your dough on [Keebler’s] Chocolate Chip cookies & their Coconut Dreams. Soooo yummy!! I can’t wait to try this with other cookies.

These were so delicious but mine didn’t look as good as yours- they looked more like Oreo balls - I definitely put too much dough on each but not sure how to make them better- should I have waited the 2 hours for the dough to sit?
