    Tips for using Air Fryers

The air fryer is so great for cooking simple basic food like air fryer bacon wrapped chicken breast, steak, and eggs. Cook up some air fryer chicken breasts for the week and use the chicken for quesadillas, salads, or DIY chipotle burrito bowls to use for lunch or dinner.

Some air fryers require preheating and some do not. Be sure to check your air fryer manual.  If the food ever burns or doesn’t cook properly this could be why the recipe didn’t work for you.

Overcrowding: Do not overcrowd the basket. Place items in a single layer in the air fryer basket or some food will not cook properly or all the way through.

What air fryer do I use? Cosori 4 Qt Air Fryer- This air fryer doesn't require any preheating and has several different functions for cooking chicken, meat, frozen foods, etc. There are 5 different functions.

What to serve with hash brown patties?

    • Make it a full-on breakfast feast or brunch board with:
    • Scrambled or fried eggs
    • Air Fryer Turkey Bacon (Ready in 8 minutes) or Air Fryer Breakfast Sausage
    • Protein Yogurt Parfaits
    • Breakfast sandwiches — use a hash brown patty as the bun!

    Recipe FAQS

Can I cook multiple patties at once?

Yes, as long as they’re in a single layer. Don’t stack — air circulation is key.

Do I need to use oil?

Not required, but a light spray of oil makes them even crispier and restaurant-style.

    How do I store leftovers?

Always store leftover hash browns in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic,  whatever!  Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container before putting it in the freezer or fridge.

    Description

One food I’ve been loving lately is frozen hash brown patties in the air fryer. Frozen hash brown patties are simple to cook in your air fryer and make they make a great side dish for any breakfast.

    Ingredients

    Scale

    4 frozen hash brown patties

    Instructions

    1. If your air fryer requires preheating then preheat it. Some do not, some do.
    2. Add the frozen hash brown patties to the air fryer basket and close it.
    3. Set the timer for 12 minutes and the temperature to 350. If you like the hash browns crispier cook them for a couple of minutes longer.
    4. Please note, all air fryers do not cook food the same so the time above might need to be adjusted to fit your air fryer.

    Notes

The brand of hash browns I like to use is Lyndale Farms Frozen Hash Brown Patties - they are 4 points for 1 hash brown. Always use your scanner app to find low point hash browns patties at the grocery stores.
