These seasoned oyster crackers are great to make as an appetizer around the Holidays. They can be made in the air fryer or oven and this recipe has instructions for both!

    Seasoned Oyster Crackers

Why You Will Love This Recipe

Oyster crackers are typically used for soups, chilis, or chowders but they can also make a great savory snack. These are so simple to make and only require a bowl for mixing the seasonings, crackers, and oil together. Then you pour them on a baking sheet and toast them up in the oven. The oyster crackers will add an extra layer of flavor to your bowl of chili or soup.

If you are looking for other uses for these flavorful crackers, serve them in a small tiny dish and set them on a charcuterie board during the Holidays or any party for snacking.

    Ingredients for Oyster Cracker Recipe

Oyster Crackers   - If you don’t like oyster crackers try saltine crackers or pretzels. This is very similar to making Party Chex Mix in the oven. Add whatever you like to the crackers.

Seasonings - The seasonings in this recipe can be changed up to whatever your liking and so can the seasoning packet. Try Taco or Ranch. Add a dash or two of Worcestershire sauce.

Vegetable Oil   -  This helps the crackers get extra toasty.

How to Make Seasoned Oyster Crackers

For the full recipe please see the recipe card below.

    Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C).

In a large bowl, combine the seasoning packet, dill weed, vegetable oil, lemon pepper, and garlic powder. Add oyster crackers, and toss to coat. Spread evenly on a baking sheet.

Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, stirring gently after 10 minutes. Remove from oven, and allow to cool before serving.

    Air Fryer Oyster Crackers

Instead of baking them in the oven make these oyster crackers in the air fryer!

Spread the crackers in the air fryer basket or on the air fryer tray. Set the temperature to 350 degrees F for 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, check if they are cooked, then stir the crackers around in the basket. Continue cooking for another 5 minutes if they're not done.
