Why You Will Like This Recipe

Ravioli is stuffed pasta with either cheese, meat, or vegetables inside. It is usually served with some type of sauce like alfredo or marinara sauce.

If you’re looking for something new to try with ravioli try these air fryer raviolis. My first time trying fried ravioli I was quite surprised and wondered why I waited so long to try this!

    Ingredients Needed

    • 1 9oz  package of refrigerated 4 Cheese Ravioli (I used Buitoni) 2 eggs, beaten
    • 1oz Parmesan Cheese, grated - do not use the parmesan cheese in the green bottle
    • 1 cup Panko Bread Crumbs - or regular bread crumbs
    • ½ teaspoon of dried parsley
    • Cooking Spray
    • Marinara Sauce for dipping

How to make Air Fryer Ravioli

Step 1 In a shallow dish combine bread crumbs with Parmesan cheese and dried parsley.  Add eggs to another shallow dish and beat them with a fork.

Step 2 Dip refrigerated ravioli in the egg with one hand, then coat the ravioli in the bread crumbs using another hand.

Step 3 Continue coating the rest of the ravioli and place them in your air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not layer the ravioli.

Step 4 Spray the ravioli with cooking spray. Set the air fryer to 350 degrees and the time to 7 minutes. (You do not need to flip them half ways through). The ravioli will be golden brown on top when they are done.

    Recipe Tips

    • When the toasted ravioli is ready, heat up some marinara sauce a microwave-safe bowl for dipping.
    • Serve the ravioli with the marinara sauce or whatever dipping sauce you desire.

    Serving size: 1 ravioli.

    Tips for using Air Fryers

The air fryer is so great for cooking simple basic food like air fryer bacon wrapped chicken breast, steak, and eggs. Cook up some air fryer chicken breasts for the week and use the chicken for quesadillas, salads, or DIY chipotle burrito bowls.

Some air fryers require preheating and some do not. Be sure to check your air fryer manual.  If the food ever burns or doesn’t cook properly this could be why the recipe didn’t work for you.

Overcrowding: Do not overcrowd the basket. Place items in a single layer in the air fryer basket or some food will not cook properly or all the way through.

What can I serve this air fryer ravioli?

For dipping sauces I'd suggest my Basic Marinara Sauce recipe or Homemade Ranch Dressing.

Appetizers:  Have an appetizer and night make some Air Fryer Crab Cakes, Smoked Queso , Air Fryer Tortilla Chips, or Air Fryer Twice Baked Potatoes.

Vegetables: Smoked potatoes or smoked asparagus is a great side dish to have with salmon.

    Recipe FAQs

Can I air fry ravioli straight from the freezer?

Yes! Frozen ravioli works great. No need to thaw—just spray with a bit of oil and air fry at 375°F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.

How do I make the ravioli crispy?

For ultra-crispy ravioli, coat them in an egg wash, then in seasoned breadcrumbs. Lightly spray with cooking oil before air frying for the best golden crunch.

    How do I store Leftovers?

Always store leftovers in clean, food-grade containers. The type of container doesn’t really matter. Use zip lock, glass, plastic,  whatever!  Make sure to store any leftovers in an airtight container before putting it in the freezer or fridge.
This can be prepped the day ahead.
