The 4th of July is coming up quickly! People start planning their 4th of July BBQ recipes and ideas in May. How do I know this? I see it every year on Pinterest. This week I saw a couple of Red, White, and Blue pins browsing my news feed already. Check out my 4th of July recipe board on Pinterest.
I went through all my favorite BBQ recipes for outdoor potlucks and combined them into this list for those people who follow WW and still want to stay on plan during our Independence Day.

If you're out grocery shopping and looking for some low point Bratwursts to grill you aren't going to find anything. Bratwursts are my favorite on the grill but it is kind of sad that those sausages are 9 points. I always opt for a low point chicken sausage instead. There are many brands that are between 2 to 5 points and they are all delicious. There is a brand called Sams Choice All Natural Chicken Sausages for only 2 points and those can be found at Wal-Mart. They are SO GOOD. Always look for low point buns as well. If I were making a 4th of July feast I'd pair my favorite chicken sausage from Wal-Mart, with some fresh fruit such as watermelon, blueberries, and strawberries, grill some corn on the cobb for 0 and make my Aunt Carol's potato salad.
If you are making burgers you can ground chicken breast or turkey breast. Beef burgers are my favorite and the 93% lean ground beef is the best.
